Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain didaktis konsep luas daerah segitiga dan segiempat agar dapat mengatasi learning obstacle yang muncul dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasinya terhadap kompetensi strategi matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Cimahi dengan subjeknya adalah kelas VII dan kelas VIII. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes berupa soal uji learning obstacle dan latihan soal untuk uji kompetensi strategi matematis siswa, serta instrumen non-tes berupa pedoman wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengajian buku-buku sumber, uji instrumen, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan selama proses penelitian ini berlangsung dengan tabel persentase dan analisis mendalam yang disajikan secara naratif. Kesimpulan yang didapat dari penelitian ini adalah desain didaktis yang telah dikembangkan di sini cukup dapat mengatasi learning obstacle yag muncul sebelumnya dan memberikan pengaruh positif yang dapat dilihat dari peningkatan kompetensi strategi matematis siswa selama implementasi desain. Kata kunci: Learning Obstacle, Desain Didaktis, Didactical Design Research (DDR). The purpose of this research is not only to develop the didactic design of the area of triangle and quadrangle concept in order to decrease the learning obstacle of the concept, but also to discover the effect of its implementation to the junior high school student’s mathematics strategic competency. This research took place in Junior High School 1 Cimahi with the subject are the first and the second grade students. The instruments of this research are tests for indentifying learning obstacle and student’s mathematics strategic competency, and non-tests such as interview report, observation, and documentation. The data collected from the literature study, instrument assessment, interview, observation, and documentation. Data is being analyzed while the research in process with the percentage table and further analysis which is served in narrative explanation. The conclusion from this research is the developed didactic design is quiet decrease learning obstacle from the initial test identification and gives positive effect which can be seen in the improvement and significant progress of the student’s mathematics strategic competency while the design implementation is in process.
