Abstract

Karawang merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Indonesia yang terkenal sebagai daerah industri. Kawasan industri adalah kawasan yang di dalamnya terdapat industri-industri yang dapat menghasilkan sejumlah limbah hasil dari proses produksi. Kawasan industri KIIC memberikan perhatiaan khusus pada program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dan program lingkungan hidup, salah satunya dengan membangun ruang terbuka hijau (RTH) yaitu Telaga Desa Agro-Enviro Educational Park. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun jalur interpretasi dan media interpretasi non-personal di Telaga Desa dengan tahapan penelitian menggunakan teori Veverka (1994) mengenai Interpretation Planning sebagai teori utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian mix methode. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui variabel yang akan diteliti, sedangkan metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk untuk mencari data primer, persepsi pengunjung mengenai media interpretasi saat ini dan preferensi pilihan media interpretasi non-personal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu wisatawan yang mengunjungi Telaga Desa. Sedangkan sampel yang diambil menggunakan rumus Slovin sebanyak 100 responden. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, media interpretasi yang cocok diterapkan menurut wsiatawan adalah brosur, papan interpretasi dan peta. ;---Karawang is one of Indonesia regency that known as Industrial Area. Industrial area is an area which there are industries that can produce a number of waste form the production process. KIIC industrial area give a special concern to Corporate Social Relationship (CSR) and environmental program, one of them is by builing a green open spaces, that is Telaga Desa Agro-Enviro Education Park. This research aims to establish interpretation route and non-personal interpretation media in Telaga Desa with research stages using Veverka (1994) theory of Interpretation Planning as main theory. This research using mix metthode. Qualitative methode is using to find out the primary data, visitors’s perception of current media interpretation and preferences of non-personal media interpretation choices. Population in this research is visitors of Telaga Desa. While the samples is taken using Slovin formula which is 100 respondens. Based on the results, interpretation media that are suitable to be applied according to the tourist iare brochures, interpretation board and maps.
