Abstract

Panduan praktikum yang eksekusi prosedurnya mampu memunculkan obyek fenomena untuk dapat diobservasi, merupakan cerminan terjadinya transformasi konseptual menjadi faktual. Namun permasalahannya, banyak ditemukan panduan praktikum yang beredar di lapangan memiliki transformasi konsep yang tidak relevan dengan faktanya. Transformasi konseptual menjadi faktual dapat mendukung proses interaksi antara domain ide dan riil. Interaksi dua domain ini mengakibatkan pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kualitas proses transformasi pengetahuan konseptual menjadi faktual pada panduan praktikum biologi jenjang SMA yang beredar di lapangan dan yang dikembangkan mahasiswa. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif. Dilakukan dengan cara mengukur interaksi pertanyaan fokus dengan obyek fenomena dan ketepatan prosedur dalam mengarahkan proses transformasi tersebut. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah format wawancara, rubrik relevansi, rubrik interaksi pertanyaan fokus dengan obyek fenomena dan rubrik ketepatan prosedural. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa panduan praktikum yang dijadikan sampel terindikasi memiliki proses transformasi konseptual menjadi faktual yang terangkai baik. Hal tersebut terlihat dari banyaknya panduan praktikum yang pertanyaan fokusnya konsisten serta obyek atau fenomenanya relevan (≥50%); banyaknya panduan yang berada di kategori tertinggi pada interaksi antara pertanyaan fokus dengan obyek atau fenomenanya (≥60%); rata-rata skoring dari karakter prosedural yang baik dan aplikasi prosedural yang tepat.----
A biology practical work which execution procedure which able to bring up the object or event to be observed, is a reflection of the conceptual transformation process into factual. The problem is, many of practical work which circulating tend to have transformation a concept which not relevant with fact. Conceptual transformation becomes factual is support the process of interaction between ideas domains and real. These two domain interactions lead to more meaningful and effective learning. This study aims to analyze how the quality of transformation process of conceptual knowledge becomes factual in the biology practical work that used in the field or high school and developed by the students. The research method descriptive. Performed by measuring the interaction of focus questions with the object event and the precision of procedures in directing the transformation process. Samples were selected based on purposive sampling technique. Instruments used interview format, relevance rubric, an interaction between focus question and objects event rubrics and procedural accuracy rubric. Data were analyzed qualitatively. The results indicated that the practical work has a good conceptual transformation process to be factual. This evident from the sample which focus question is consistent and relevant objects or event (≥50%); some of highest categories found in the interaction between the focus question and the object or event (≥60%); as well as average scores of good procedural characters and appropriate procedural applications.
