Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi atas keresahan peneliti yang menemukan fakta di lapangan bahwa sebagian besar siswa kelas XI MIA 6 SMA Negeri 24 Bandung ini memiliki kadar kreativitas menulis yang rendah dalam menulis tugas yang diberikan oleh guru. Ditemukan kecenderungan dalam mengcopy-paste temuan informasi yang berasal dari internet tanpa ada proses sunting dan analisis lebih jauh. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada upaya meningkatkan kreativitas menulis siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Indikator dari kreativitas menulis di antaranya adalah siswa akan membuat suatu artikel sejarah yang selanjutnya artikel tersebut akan dimuat dalam suatu project pembuatan Blog. Pada project pembuatan Blog tersebut peneliti telah menentukan sub-indikator untuk melihat sejauh mana ketercapaian project ini terhadap kemampuan menulis kreatif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dan desain penelitian dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Desain penelitian model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart terdiri dari beberapa tahapan di antaranya adalah perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan kreativitas menulis dalam pembelajaran sejarah telah mengalami peningkatan pada setiap sub-indikator yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi guru atau pihak sekolah untuk mengembangkan proses pembelajaran sejarah. Selain itu hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat mengembangkan potensi menulis kreatif pada diri setiap siswa, agar pembelajaran yang dilalui siswa menjadi lebih bermakna bagi kehidupan.-----This research was conducted based on researcher’s experience who discovered facts on the field that most of XI MIA 6 students at SMA Negeri 24 Bandung has a low level of writing creativity in writing tasks assigned by the teacher. There is a tendency to copy-paste the information findings coming from the internet without any further process of editing and analysis. This research focuses on improving student’s writing creativity in history lesson. Indicators of creativity writing among them is the student will create a history article which then the article will be published in the making Blog project. In this project, researcher’s has determined the sub-indicator to see how far the achievement of this project to the creative writing ability of students. Research method used in this study was classroom action research and research design from Kemmis & Mc. Taggart. Kemmis & Mc. Taggart’s research design consists of several stages including planning, observation, and reflection. Based on the results of the research that has been done writing creativity in history lesson has increased in every sub-indicators. It can be seen from the increasing responsibility percentage from implementing performance assessment using peer assessment that shows changes of students’ responsibility in their action. The result of this research can be a recommendation for teachers or school management to develop History lesson to improve students characters, espescially in develop the potential of creative writing students, so that the lesson that students learned will be more meaningful for their life.
