Abstract

Indonesia memiliki keanekaragaman tumbuhan yang tinggi, khususnya tanaman obat. Desa Depok, Pakenjeng Kabupaten Garut, merupakan salah satu desa yang masyarakatnya masih banyak menggunakan tanaman sebagai obat. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali informasi etnobotani tanaman obat masyarakat desa Depok Pakenjeng, Kabupaten Garut yang selanjutnya akan digunakan sebagai bahan belajar biologi di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif-verifikatif. Langkah penelitian dilakukan dengan cara studi literatur, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara, selanjutnya dilakukan triangulasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapati 81 jenis tanaman obat dari 29 familia dan 2 klasis yakni Magnoliopsida (Dicotyledonae) dan Liliopsida (Monocotyledonae). Setelah dilakukan analisa Indeks RCFs (angka penting tumbuhan), didapati tumbuhan dengan angka penting tertinggi adalah tumbuhan jambe/pinang (Areca catechu) dan asam jawa (Tamarindus indica) yaitu sebesar 0,52. Selain jenis tanaman dan angka pentingnya, data yang diperoleh yakni bagian tumbuhan dan cara pengolahan (preparasi) tumbuhan sebagai obat. Bagian tanaman yang paling tinggi digunakan adalah daun (58%), disusul dengan buah (16%), rimpang (10%), akar dan batang (5%), umbi 4%, dan yang paling rendah adalah bunga (2%). Cara pengolahan tanaman sebagai obat dilakukan dengan cara direbus (41%), diremas (9%), diparut (8%), dikonsumsi langsung sebagai lalapan (6%), dan ditumbuk (3%) serta pengambilan getah dan dibuat “jendilan” (2%). Hasil penelitian ini kemudian digunakan sebagai sumber belajar Biologi, berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) pada KD 3.8 dan 4.8, bahan ajar, lembar kerja siswa (LKS), dan media pembelajaran berupa video animasi apersepsi pengantar praktikum.---Indonesia has a high diversity of plants, especially medicinal plants. Depok Village, Pakenjeng Garut Regency, is one of the villages that people there still use the plant as a medicine. The purpose of this research is to gather ethnobotany information of medicinal plants of Depok Pakenjeng village village, Garut regency which will be used as biology study material in Senior High School. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative-verifikative method. Steps of this research are literature study, field observation, and interview, then do triangulation. Based on the results of the study, found 81 types of medicinal plants from 29 families and 2 klasis namely Magnoliopsida (Dicotyledonae) and Liliopsida (Monocotyledonae). After analyzing the RCFs Index (the number of important plants), the plants with the highest important figures are jambe/ pinang (Areca catechu) and asam jawa (Tamarindus indica) (0.52%). Base of RCFs index scale, both of those are important plants for Depok people. In addition, the data obtains the plant part and the way of processing (preparation) of plants as a medicine. The highest part of plant which is used by people is leaves (58%), followed by fruits (16%), rhizomes (10%), roots and stems (5%), 4% bulbs, and the flower as the lowest (2%). Processes of preparation of the plant as a medicine are done by boiling (41%), crushed (9%), shredded (8%), consumed directly as fresh vegetables (6%), crushed (3%) and sap making and made "jendilan" (2%). Then, the results of this study are used as source of Biology learning, in the form of Learning Plan (RPP) in KD 3.8 and 4.8, teaching materials, student worksheets, and learning media such as an apperception animation video in the form of introduction of work practice containing ethnobotany information for supporting learning process.
