Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknyadiskriminasi di dalaminteraksimasyarakatterhadapwaria. Waria di lingkunganmasyarakatsudahtidakasingterdengar.Setiapwariamemilikicaraberinteraksi yang beragam, begitu pula interaksimasyarakatterhadapwaria. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui InteraksiSosialMasyarakatdenganWariayang ada di KarangPamulangMandalajati Kota Bandung. Diketahuibahwaterdapattanggapanpositifdannegatif yang diberikanmasyarakatterhadapwaria, kemudian proses interaksisosialmasyarakatdenganwaria yang berbentukasosiatifdandisosiatif,dan yang terakhiryaituadanyasolusiuntukmemecahkanpermasalahanwariayang ada di lingkunganKarangpamulangdengancaramusyawarahatauberdiskusiuntukmencarijalankeluarbersama. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metodestudi kasus.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakanadalahobservasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini terdiri darimasyarakat,kaumwaria, danaparatdesa.Hasildaripenelitianinimenyatakanbahwa, interaksi yang ditunjukkanwariaterhadapmasyarakatdirasacenderungtertutup.Namun, wariasenantiasaberusahauntukbersosialisasijikadiperlukan.Solusi yang ditempuhuntukmemecahkanpermasalahaniniadalahdenganmelibatkanwariadalamkegiatan social, danmelakukanmusyawarahagallebihmengenaldanmemahamisatusama lain-----This research is motivated by the number of discrimination in the interaction of society to transvestites. Transgender in the community is familiar. Each transvestite has a variety of interacting ways, as well as community interaction with shemale. This study aims to determine the Social Interaction Society with transvestites in KarangPamulangMandalajati Bandung. It is known that there are positive and negative responses given by the society to the transvestites, then the social interaction process of the community with transvestites who are associative and dissociative form, and the last is the solution to solve the problems of transvestites in the environment KarangPamulang by way of deliberation or discussion to find a way come out together. This research was conducted by using qualitative approach and case study method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation study. The informants of this study consisted of the community, transvestites, and village officials. The results of this study states that, the interaction shown transsexuals to the community felt tend to be closed. However, transvestites always try to socialize if necessary. The solution taken to solve this problem is to involve transvestites in social activities, and conduct musyawarahagal more familiar and understand each other.
