Abstract

Literacy of the Internet is needed to know the development of the world in the world of education, especially teachers. Seeing the importance of internet literacy, there is an interest to discuss and analyze the level of internet literacy of teachers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were 99 vocational high school teachers (SMK). Data collection using questionnaires. The theory used is adopted from the Suitable Learning Object Type (LRE APV4.7) and the Three Elements of Literacy Digital. The data from the questionnaire were processed and analyzed using Capability Maturity Model theory, the result of the research showed that the internet literacy level of SMK teachers was at level 2. The teacher's internet literacy level was influenced by the frequency of interaction and the repetition pattern on internet usage. The use of the internet by teachers of SMK with various needs that support the process of teaching, communicating, sharing knowledge, but the most dominant is to communicate through social media. Factors that affect the level of the internet literacy teachers are the minimum level of education background, male gender, and employment status is not fixed.---- Literasi internet sangat diperlukan untuk mengetahui perkembangan dunia dalam berbagai hal secara cepat dan tepat, begitu juga dalam dunia pendidikan khususnya guru. Melihat pentingnya literasi internet maka munculah ketertarikan untuk membahas dan menganalisis tingkat literasi internet guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) sebanyak 99 informan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teori yang digunakan diadopsi dari Suitable Learning Object Type (LRE APV4.7) dan Three Elements of Literacy Digital. Data hasil kuisioner diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan teori Capability Maturity Model, hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tingkat literasi internet guru SMK berada pada tingkat 2. Tingkat literasi internet guru dipengaruhi oleh frekuensi interaksi dan pola perulangan terhadap penggunaan internet. Penggunaan internet oleh guru SMK dengan berbagai kebutuhan yaitu penunjang proses mengajar, berkomunikasi, melakukan sharing ilmu, namun yang paling dominan yaitu untuk berkomunikasi melalui media sosial. Faktor yang berpengaruh pada tingkat literasi internet guru yaitu usia produktif, latar belakang pendidikan minimal sarjana, jenis kelamin laki-laki, dan status kepegawaian guru tidak tetap.
