Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui gambaran kompetensi guru, motivasi belajar siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Al-Ma’soem, (2) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi guru dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi guru, sedangkan variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah motivasi belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tiga komponen proses belajar mengajar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif verifikatif, sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi adalah siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Al-Ma’soem, sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 114 siswa. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh (sensus). Data variabel kompetensi guru dan motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner yang diberikan kepada siswa dan data hasil belajar siswa dari teknik dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (Path Analysis) dengan program SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran kompetensi guru di SMA Al-Ma’soem berada dalam kategori sedang, gambaran motivasi belajar siswa berada dalam kategori tinggi dan hasil belajar siswa berada dalam kategori sangat rendah. Besarnya pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa yang dilihat dari nilai R square sebesar 15,30%. Besarnya pengaruh kompetensi guru dan motivasi belajar siswa yang dilihat dari nilai R square adalah sebesar 20,87%.;---This research was aimed (1) to determine the competency of teacher’s, student learning motivation, and learning outcomes of student’s in SMA Al-Ma’soem (2) to determine the magnitude of the influence of teacher’s compentence to student’s learning motivation and (3) the influence of teacher’s competence and student’s learning motivation to student’s learning outcomes in SMA Al-Ma’soem. The independent variables in this research are teacher’s competence, while the dependent variable in this research is student’s learning motivation and student’s learning outcomes. The theory used in this research is the trhee components of teaching and learning process. The method used in this research is descriptive verification method, while the research design in this research is quantitative research. In this research the population was a class XI social SMA Al-Ma’soem, the samples used is whole population which totaled 114 student’s. The techniques used in sampling using the technique of saturated samples (census). The techniques variable data of teacher’s competence and student’s learning motivation can retrieved from the dissemination of the questionnaire to the student’s, and student’s learning outcomes data by document technic. The data wer analyzed by means of the path analysis using the program of SPSS version 23. The research showed that the teacher’s competence overview at SMA Al-Ma'soem is in medium category, an overview of student’s learning motivation in higher categories, and student’s learning outcomes in the very low category. The magnitude of the influence of teacher competence on student learning motivation seen from the value of R square is 15,30%. Meanwhile for the teacher’s competence and student’s learning motivation towards the student’s learning outcomes seen from the value of R square is equal to 20,87%
