Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak tunagrahita sedang melalui latihan gerak dasar senam irama SLB Purnama Asih Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada anak dengan inisial “A” di kelas VI SLB tersebut. Anak tersebut pada saat berolahraga tidak mampu mengikuti gerakan sepenuhnya, saat berjalan anak terlihat mengangkang, pada saat melakukan gerakan meloncat anak mampu mengangkat semua kaki dan anak mampu berlari, akan tetapi anak tidak mampu berlari secara cepat dikarenakan ia memiliki berat tubuh yang melebihi tubuh orang normal anak seusianya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian A-B-A. Metode ini dilakukan dengan cara memberikan perlakuan (treatment) terhadap subjek penelitian kemudian mengukur akibat dari pemberian perlakuan tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa, latihan gerak dasar senam irama mempunyai pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan motorik kasar pada anak tunagrahita sedang. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah intervensi anak dapat membedakan gerakan dasar senam yaitu gerakan tangan, kaki dan meloncat. Peneliti merekomendasikan kepada pendidik agar dapat menggunakan latihan gerak dasar senam irama sebagai salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak tunagrahita sedang.;---This study aims to improve the abusive motor abilities of children tunagrahita is through basic motion exercises gymnastics SLB Purnama Asih Bandung. This study was conducted on children with the initials "A" in the class VI of the SLB. The child at the time of exercise is not able to follow the full movement, when walking the child looks astride, at the time of jumping the child is able to lift all legs and children can run, but the child can not run fast because he has a body weight that exceeds the body of a normal person child of his age. This research uses experimental method with A-B-A research design. This method is done by giving treatment (treatment) to the research subject and then measure the effect of the treatment. Based on the results of data analysis found that, basic motion exercises gymnastics rhythm has a positive effect on the increase in gross motor abilities in children with moderate tunagrahita. The results obtained after the intervention of the child can distinguish the basic movement of gymnastics that is hand movement, foot and jump. Researchers recommend to educators in order to use basic motion exercises rhythm exercises as one way to improve the abusive motor abilities of children with moderate tunagrahita.
