Abstract
Diperolehnya hasil belajar yang rendah pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dan Elemen Mesin dengan nilai UAS (Ujian Akhir Semester) di tiga tahun terakhir rata-rata tidak memenuhi KKM (Keriteria Kelulusan Minimal) sebesar 75 pada siswa kelas X Teknik Pemesinan (TP) di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dan Elemen Mesin menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada siswa kelas X TP 3 di SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang digunakan terdiri dari empat siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan Problem Based Learning berbasis kelompok dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari N-Gain tiap siklusnya. Siklus 1 sebesar 0,62 yang tergolong kategori sedang, siklus 2 sebesar 0,70 tergolong kategori tinggi, pada siklus 3 sebesar 0,71 tergolong kategori tinggi, dan pada siklus 4 sebesar 0,77 tergolong kategori tinggi. Dari hasil penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada siklus 1 sampai siklus 4 dapat disimpulkan bahwa Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Mekanika Teknik dan Elemen Mesin di Kelas X TP 3 SMKN 6 Bandung.;---Based on the students' final test achievement in the last three years, almost all of students did not reach the criteria minimum score, which was the criteria minimum score for the students of 10th grade of mechaninal engineering was 75. The aimed of this research was for improving the students' learning achievement in subject of technique mechanical and engineering element by using Problem Based Learning (PBL) for the students of 10th grade TP 3 at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung. There were four cycles for this classroom action research. The results showed that the application of group based Problem Based Learning can improve student learning achievement seen from N-Gain values for each cycle. Cycle 1 is 0.62 classified in medium category, cycle 2 is 0.70 classified in high category, cycle 3 is 0.71 classified in high category, and cycle 4 is 0.77 classified in high category. From the results of the application of Problem Based Learning Model on the cycle 1 to cycle 4 can be concluded that Problem Based Learning can improve student learning achievement in the subject of technique mechanical and engineering element to the students of 10th grade of TP 3 at SMK Negeri 6 Bandung.
