Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Social Inquiry untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar tari kreasi nusantara dengan fokus penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII J SMP Negeri 6 Cimahi. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar tari kreasi nusantara pada siswa kelas VIII J berdasarkan hasil observasi menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas yaitu 74.6 dimana nilai tersebut memiliki kriteria kurang dan belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yaitu 78. Selain itu permasalahan yang lain yaitu kurangnya interaksi sosial dan kerjasama antar siswa dalam pembelajaran seni tari. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang mengadaptasi dari model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas tersebut terdiri dari V siklus, dimana siklus I dan II terjadi pada konsep pembelajaran I, siklus III dan IV terjadi pada konsep pembelajaran II dan siklus V terjadi pada konsep pembelajaran III. Hal ini dibuktikan secara deskriptif dari hasil pelaksanaan pembelajaran tari kreasi nusantara. Pada observasi awal sampai nilai rata-rata akhir setelah penerapan model Social Inquiry mengalami peningkatan yaitu dari 74.6 menjadi 86.5, berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model Social Inquiry pada pembelajaran seni tari dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar tari kreasi nusantara.;---This study aims to describe the application of Social Inquiry model to increase learning result of national creation dance with the focus of research that is students of class VIII J SMP Negeri 6 Cimahi. Implementation of this research in the past by the low learning result of national in VIII J classic students based on observations showed the average class of 74.6 which has no criteria less and has not reached the Minimum Exhaustiveness Criterion is 78. Besides other problems namely the relationship between social and inter-student cooperation in art learning. Based on these questions, a classroom action research is adapted from the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of four stages of planning, implementation of observation and reflection. The result of class action research consisting of V cycles, where cycle I and II above on learning concept I, cycle III and IV on learning concept II and V cycle on learning concept III. This is descriptively proved by the results of learning implementation national creation dance. On the initial observation until the average end of the implementation of Social Inquiry model increased from 74.6 to 86.5, based on these results can be concluded with the implementation of Social Inquiry model on the learning of dance can increase learning result national creation dance.
