Abstract
Violin Method Houchi dan Violin Method Suzuki adalah buku pedoman pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Musik Swara Moriska Kebon Jati Bandung. Kedua buku tersebut berasal dari dua Negara dan kurikulum pembelajaran yang berbeda. Violin Method Houchi berasal dari China dan Violin Method Suzuki berasal dari Jepang. Sekolah Musik Swara Moriska memiliki kurikulum yang dibuat secara mandiri dengan menggabungkan buku Violin Method Houchi dan Violin Method Suzuki untuk mencapai tujuan kurikulum sekolahnya.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesinambungan penggunaan buku Violin Method Houchi dan Violin Method Suzuki pada pembelajaran Violin grade 1 dan hasilnya di Sekolah Musik Swara Moriska. Alasan dilasanakan penelitian ini karena peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti proses pembelajaran Violin grade 1 dengan dua buku pembelajaran violinyang berbeda dan untuk mengetahui hasi akhir dari pembelajaran Violin tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif sehingga data diambil dan dianalisis untuk mengetahui alasan digabungnya dua buku tersebut dengan hasil yang diperoleh pada saat ujian kenaikan tingkat yang diadakan setiap tahunnya di sekolah Musik Swara Moriska. Instrumen pengambilan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan kesinambungan dari penggunaan buku Violin Method Houchi dan Violin Method Suzuki, proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Musik Swara Moriska, dan hasil yang diperoleh selama proses pembelajaran dilaksanakan.----------- HouchiViolin Method and Suzuki Violin Method was a guidance books used in the learning process at Swara Moriska Music School Kebon Jati Bandung. Both of books came from two different countries and curriculum. Houchi Violin Method cames from China and Suzuki Violin Method cames from Japan. Swara Moriska Music Shool has an independently curriculum and combining Houchi Violin Method and Suzuki Violin Method to achieved the purpose of the school curriculum. The purpose of this research was to know the continuity of using Houchi Violin Method and Suzuki Violin Method on learning Violin grade I and the result in Swara Moriska Music Shool. The reason for this research was because the researcher was interested to study the learning process of Violin grade I with two different Violin learning books and to know the final result of the Violin learning. This research was a qualitative descriptive research so that the data was taken and analyzed to find out the reason for the merger of the two books with the results obtained at the annual level increase test at Swara Moriska Music School. Instruments of data collection using observation, interview, documentation and literature study. In this study found continuity of the use of books Houchi Violin Method and Suzuki Violin Method, learning process in Swara Moriska Music School,
