Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode PQRST, (2) menguji tingkat efektivitas metode PQRST dalam keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis mahasiswa semester V tahun akademik 2017/2018, (3) menginformasikan tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan metode PQRST dalam pembelajaran keterampilan membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Experiment dengan desain one-grup pré-test t-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka, tes dan angket serta wawancara. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 33 orang mahasiswa semester 5 Departemen Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis FPBS UPI Tahun Akademik 2017/2018. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata prates mahasiswa sebesar 79.1 dan nilai rata-rata pasca tes sebesar 85.33. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks bahasa Perancis mahasiswa setelah penggunaan metode PQRST. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik diperoleh nilai t-hitung sebesar 4.051 dan nilai t-tabel sebesar 2,738 dengan derajat kebebasan (d.b) sebesar 32 dan taraf signifikasi sebesar 0.01, sehingga t-hitung > t-tabel, yang artinya hipotesis kerja dalam penelitian ini diterima. ---------- This study aims to (1) describe the reading comprehension skills of French text before and after using PQRST méthode; (2) to test the effectiveness level of PQRST méthode in reading comprehension skill of French semester V student academic year 2017/2018; and (3) to inform the students' responses to the use of PQRST méthodes in learning the reading comprehension skills of French texts. The research méthode used is Quasi Experiment with one-group pré-test t-posttest design. Data collection techniques used are literature studies, tests and questionnaires. The sample in this research is 33 students of 5ème semester of French language education department FPBS UPI Academic Year 2017/2018. Based on the data analysis obtained the average value of student prates of 79.1 and the average post test value of 85.33. This indicates an increase in the reading comprehension ability of the French text of the students after the use of the PQRST méthode. Furthermore, based on the results of statistical calculations obtained t-count value of 4051 and t-table value of 2.738 with degrees of freedom of 32 and the level of significance of 0.01, so t-count> t-table, which means working hypothesis in this study be accepted.
