    Abstract

    Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode cooperative learning untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran seni tari. Fokus penelitian ini pada siswa kelas VIII-A berjumlah 38 siswa di SMPN 7 Bandung. Alasan penting penelitian ini yaitu;(1) Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru kurang efektif. Hal tersebut berdampak hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran seni tari rendah. (2) Kurang optimalnya peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran siswa. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan desain siklus model Riell, yaitu dengan 4 tahapan (Perencanaan, Tindakan, Observasi, dan Refleksi) yang terus diulang sampai hasil yang diinginkan tercapai. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus, diperoleh hasil ketuntasan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 44,73%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode cooperative learning dalam pembelajaran seni tari dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran siswa kelas VIII-A di SMPN 7 Bandung. ----------- This thesis aims to describe the implementation of cooperative learning method to improve the quality of dance art learning. This research focus on 38 students in class VIII-A in SMPN 7 Bandung. The important reasons of this research are: (1) Teaching methods used by the teachers are less effective. It causes low outcomes on students dance art learning. (2) Less optimal role of teacher in students learning process. The approach used in this study is qualitative approach. The research method used is Class Action Research with Riell model cycle design that has 4 stages (Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection) which is repeated until the desired result is achieved. The results of research conducted in three cycles, obtained that the results of students' learning outcome increased by 44.73%. Then it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning method in the learning of dance art can improve class VIII-A students' learning quality in SMPN 7 Bandung.
