Abstract
Pelaksanaan pembelajaran di SMK PPN Lembang masih menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional yang mengakibatkan peserta didik kurang berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan penerapan model discovery learning menggunakan mind map pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan prinsip dan teknik – teknik mengemas dan menyimpan bahan hasil pertanian dan perikanan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kognitif dan afektif peserta didik dengan penerapan model tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan 2 sikus pada kelas X-1 TPHP di SMK PPN Lembang. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar observasi aspek afektif dan tes (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik terjadi pada siklus I ke siklus II. (1) Pada aspek kognitif terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 12,91 % dan peningkatan N-gain dari kategori sedang hingga kategori tinggi (2) pada ranah afektif dengan indikator spiritual, jujur, disiplin, proaktif, responsif dan peduli juga mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah penerapan model discovery learning menggunakan mind map dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik baik pada ranah kognitif dan afektif. Implementation of learning in SMK PPN Lembang is still using conventional learning model that resulted less active participation of student in learning process So the purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the application of discovery learning model using mind map on basic competence to apply principles and technics of packaging and storing agricultural and fishery products to know the cognitive and affective learning outcomes of the students with the application of the model. The research method used is a class action research with 2 cycles in class X-1 TPHP of SMK PPN Lembang. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Instruments used are learning implementation observation sheet, affective aspect observation sheet and test (pre-test and post-test). The results showed improvement of students' learning outcomes that occurred in cycle I to cycle II. (1) On the cognitive aspect, the learning completion effect is 12.91% and the increase of N-gain from moderate to high category, (2) on the affective domain with spiritual, honesty, discipline, proactive, responsiveness and caring indicators also increases. The conclusion of this study is the application of discovery learning model using mind map can improve students' learning outcomes both in the cognitive and affective aspects.
