    Abstract

    Penyusunan Tugas Akhir (TA) ini bertujuan untuk melakukan improvement di lini produksi Steering Shaft, serta untuk memperoleh gambaran nyata tentang waktu dan biaya yang dibutuhkan dalam pembuatan Fixture tersebut. Pembuatan Fixture ini menggunakan material ST37 agar memiliki karakteristik yang sesuai dengan proses produksi. Proses pembuatan komponen ini dilakukan melalui: 1) Proses frais; 2) proses fitter;. Secara teoritis waktu yang dibutuhkan adalah 24.67 jam dengan total biaya Rp. 8.686.850 (termasuk biaya material). Adapun secara realistis waktu yang diperlukan adalah 26.54 jam dengan total biaya Rp 9.277.700 (termasuk biaya material).--------------------

    The final drafting (TA) is aimed at improving the Steering Shaft production line, as well as to get a real picture of the time and cost required in making the Fixture. Making this Fixture using ST37 material to have characteristics in accordance with the production process. The process of making this component is done through: 1) Process frais; 2) fitter process ;. Theoretically the time required is 24.67 hours with total cost Rp. 8,686,850 (including material costs). The realistic time required is 26.54 hours with total cost Rp 9.277.700 (including material costs).
