Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya salah satu kelas yang dulunya merupakan ruang untuk praktik plumbing dan sekarang telah beralih fungsi menjadi ruang kelas teori, bila dilihat dari kondisi fisik ruang kelas tersebut terdapat kurangnya pencahayaan alami sehingga setiap proses pembelajaran berlangsung membutuhkan pencahayaan tambahan atau buatan yang berasal dari lampu yang ada di ruang kelas. Selain kurangnya pencahayaan juga sedikitnya bukaan yang ada di ruang kelas sehingga mengakibatkan siswa menjadi kurang fokus saat mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini aspek yang diteliti adalah aspek kenyamanan termal dan pencahayaan yang terdapat pada ruang kelas tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kondisi ruang terhadap konsentrasi belajar siswa dilihat dari persepsi siswa dan dibandingkan standar kondisi ruang yang telah ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah kelas XI TGB 1 SMK Negeri 1 Cirebon yang berjumlah 37 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa kondisi ruang kelas memberikan pengaruh sebesar 52,7% terhadap konsentrasi belajar. Adapun rinciannya, indikator temperatur memberikan pengaruh sebesar 3,3%, indikator angin memberikan pengaruh sebesar 16,6%, dan indikator cahaya memberikan pengaruh sebesar 80,1%.----------The research was distributed by the presence of one of the classes that used to be room for the practice the plumbing and now have switched functions into classroom theory, if seen from physical condition of the classroom is a lack of natural lighting so that any learning process takes place in need of additional or artificial lighting that comes from the light that is in the classroom. In addition to the lack of lighting is also at least the existing openings in the classroom so as to result in students becoming less focus during learning process. On the research aspects of thermal comfort aspect is and the lighting in the classroom. This research aims to find out how big the influence classroom conditions against the concentration of students seen from the perception of students and compared to a standard existing space conditions. This research uses a quantitative approach to the types of descriptive research. The respondent of this research is the class of XI TGB 1 SMK N 1 Cirebon amounted to 37 people. Data collection techniques using instrument of observation and question form. Based on the result of research that has been done can be known that classroom condition influence 52,7% against concentration of study. As for the details, the temperature influence of 3,3%, the wind giving the influence of 16,6%, and the lighting gives the influence of 80,1%.
