Abstract
In formal education is not only the intellect intelligence used as the basis of assessment of learning success. In addition to the intelligence of intelligence, an emotional intelligence role is also critical to achieving student success in a learning and give students the ability to receive a lesson well, so it has a success rate of learning are good also. The purpose of this is to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence on the results of learning to play basketball in extracurricular SMA Negeri 1 Baleendah kab. Bandung. This study uses descriptive correlational research, with a population that all students SMA Negeri 1 Baleendah who follow basketball extracurricular total of 37 students, with a sampling technique using saturated samples the researchers took all the students in the sample. The research instrument used was a test of questionnaires and tests GPAI. Based on the results of data analysis and processing 0,854 r results obtained with the interpretation of the correlation is very strong and the level of emotional intelligence contributes to the learning outcomes play basketball by 73% and the remaining specified other variables. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and the learning outcomes of play bolabakset in extracurricular SMA Negeri 1 Baeleendah. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, learning outcomes, the game of basketball Dalam pendidikan formal tidak hanya kecerdasan intelegensi yang digunakan sebagai landasan penilaian terhadap keberhasilan belajar. Selain kecerdasan intelegensi, peranan kecerdasan emosinal juga penting bagi pencapaian keberhasilan siswa dalam suatu pembelajaran serta memberi kemampuan siswa untuk menerima pembelajaran dengan baik, sehingga memiliki tingkat keberhasilan belajar yang baik pula. Tujuan ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar bermain bolabasket di ekstrakulikuler SMA Negeri 1 Baleendah kab. Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif korelasional, dengan populasi yaitu seluruh siswa SMA Negeri 1 Baleendah yang mengikuti ekstrakulikuler bolabasket berjumlah 37 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh maka peneliti mengambil seluruh siswa sebagai sampel. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes kuesioner dan tes GPAI. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data didapat hasil r sebesar 0,854 dengan interpretasi korelasi sangat kuat dan tingkat kecerdasan emosional memberikan kontribusi terhadap hasil belajar bermain bolabasket sebesar 73% dan sisanya ditentukan varibel lain. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar bermain bolabakset di ekstrakulikuler SMA Negeri 1 Baeleendah.
