Abstract
Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja guru tidak tetap di SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan fluktuasi kinerja guru tidak tetap yang dinilai belum maksimal. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu iklim organisasi sekolah (X) dan motivasi mengajar guru (Y). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran kondusif mengenai iklim organisasi sekolah, memperoleh gambaran mengenai tingkat motivasi mengajar guru, dan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari iklim organisasi sekolah terhadap motivasi mengajar guru. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksplanatory survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah guru tidak tetap GTT di SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi sebanyak 30 orang. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi sekolah berada pada kategori cukup kondusif dan motivasi mengajar guru berada pada kategori sedang. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa iklim organisasi sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi mengajar guru di SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi. ;--- The background of this research is the low quality of honorary teachers in SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi. It could be seen from the fluctuation of the teachers’ performance which had not been maximum. This research had two variables, those were the school’s organization climate (X) and the teachers’ teaching motivation (Y). The purposes of this research were to obtain the conducive view of the school’s organization climate, the view of the teachers’ teaching motivation level, and to find out whether there is any influence of the school’s organization climate to the teachers’ teaching motivation. The method used in this research was explanatory survey method. The questionnaires with likert scale model were given and analyzed by using simple regression method. Thirty honorary teachers in SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi were the respondents of this research. The data analyzed showed that the school’s organization climate was in a nearly conducive category and the teachers’ teaching motivation was in the middle category. From the hypothesis test obtained that the school’s organization climate had a positive influence to the teachers’ teaching motivation in SMK PGRI 2 Cimahi.
