Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya minat masyarakat terhadap kesenian bela diri pencak silat serta banyaknya masyarakat yang lebih meminati kesenian beladiri dari negara tetangga. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap kesenian pencak silat Panglipur Mekar Buana, program kerja, proses internalisasi nilai-nilai budi pekerti luhur serta dampak aktivitas kesenian pencak silat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu melalui wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini terdiri dari pelatih, anggota perguruan, masyarakat dan tokoh masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa persepsi masyarakat sangat positif terbukti sekitar 80% masyarakat di sekitar kampung Anggrek mengikuti seni bela diri pencak silat. Seluruh program di Perguruan Panglipur Mekar Buana telah terealisasi dengan baik. Adapun proses internalisasi nilai-nilai budi pekerti luhur di Perguruan Panglipur Mekar Buana yaitu melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, pemberian nasihat atau petuah-petuah serta diaplikasikan melalui gerakan-gerakan pencak silat. Dampak dari aktivitas kesenian pencak silat ini yaitu anggota perguruan mampu disiplin, sopan dan santun, peduli terhadap sesama, berani, tanggung jawab, beretika, terakhir aktivitas latihan pencak silat ini dapat meningkatkan prestasi.;--- This research is motivated by lack of public interest in the martial arts as well as the many people who is more interested in martial arts from neighboring countries. This research aims to determine the public perception of the Panglipur Mekar Buana martial arts, work program, the process of internalizing the values of noble character and impact of martial art activities towards the development of the noble character values. This study used a qualitative approach which the data collection techniques are through interview, observation and documentation analysis. The informants consists of coaches, members of school, public and community leaders. Based on the result, we concluded that the public perception is very positive proven around 80% of people in the surrounding of Anggrek villages join martial arts. The entire program at Perguruan Panglipur Mekar Buana has realized well. The process of internalizing the noble character values in Perguruan Panglipur Mekar Buana is through habituation, pattern, giving advice and applied through movements of martial arts. The impact of the martial arts activities that is member capable of disciplined, polite and courteous, caring for others, brave, responsible, ethics, and the last is activity of martial arts training can improve performance.
