Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Bina Warga Bandung. Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah belum optimalnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pengantar administrasi perkantoran kelas XI jurusan administrasi perkantoran di SMK Bina Warga Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei eksplanasi dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif. Selanjutnya, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala Likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Jumlah responden penelitian ini adalah 55 orang responden. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah sampel siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK Bina Warga Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berada pada kategori sedang, hasil belajar berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji hipotesis menyatakan bahwa tingkat kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Saran yang diajukan bagi sekolah adalah: pertama, Sebaiknya guru dapat memotivasi pada siswa yang kurang percaya diri untuk lebih memahami diri sendiri dan tidak mengandalkan orang lain dalam proses pembelajaran. Kedua, guru harus memperhatikan faktor kecerdasan emosional siswa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.;--- This research was conducted in Vocational School of Bina Warga, Bandung. The problem studied in this research was students’ learning outcomes in the subject introduction of office administration in grade XI of department of office administration in Vocational School of Bina Warga, Bandung which is not optimal. The research method used was explanatory survey method with descriptive data analysis technique. Furthermore, the data was collected by distributing a questionnaire with Likert scale model, which was analyzed by simple regression. The numbers of respondents in this study were 55 respondents. Respondents in this study were students in grade XI of Office Administration Class in Vocational School of Bina Warga, Bandung. The result showed that emotional intelligence was on the medium category, the learning outcome was on the medium category. The result of hypothesis test explained that the level of emotional intelligence has positive and significant impact on students’ learning outcomes. Proposal suggestions for school are: first, teachers, preferably, can motivate the students who were not confident to be better understanding themself and they do not rely on other people in the learning process. Second, teachers must pay attention to emotional intelligence of students to improve students’ learning outcomes.
