Abstract
Penelitian ini didasari oleh banyaknya percakapan yang terjadi tanpa memakai kesopanan baik itu berbicara kepada orang yang lebih tua, kepada sesama, ataupun kepada orang yang lebih muda. Percakapan bisa berlangsung secara lisan, bisa juga dalam tulisan, misalnya dalam karya sastra berbentuk cerita bersambungl. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan prinsip kesopanan yang ditemukan dalam cerita bersambung berbahasa Sunda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara analisis unsur langsung. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah percakapan yang terdapat dalam cerita bersambung yang berjudul “Dirawu Kélong” karya Ahmad Bakri. Hasil penelitian menemukan 737 ujaran yang diklasifikasikan berdasarkan latar dan topik serta dianalisis berdasarkan prinsip kesopanannya. Prinsip kesopanan terdiri dari enam maksim, yaitu maksim kebijaksanaan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim kesepakatan, maksim kesimpatian, maksim penghargaan dan maksim kesederhanaan. Ditemukan 19 pola percakapan, 509 ujaran berdasarkan prinsip kesopanan serta 509 ujaran yang mengandung ragam bahasa hormat, sedang, kasar, dan campuran. Hasil penelitian bisa dijadikan bahan pembelajaran percakapan di kelas VII SMP.;--- This research based on many conversations without politeness. That conversations did with the older, with friend, or with the younger. Conversation did by oral, but there are conversations in the text, for example conversation on the serial story. This research has purpose to analyze and describe the politeness principle that found on Sundanese novel. The method used in this research is descriptive method with bibliography technique. Direct elemental analysis is used in this research to process the data. The source of research is all of conversations on serial story with the title “Dirawu Kélong” by Ahmad Bakri. There are 737 utterances that classificated by background and topic of conversations and analyzed by politeness principle. Politeness principle has six maxims, there are taxt maxim, generosity maxim, agreement maxim, sympathy maxim, approbation maxim, and modesty maxim. There are 19 of conversations pattern, 509 utterances based on politeness principle and 509 utterances that has variety of language contained polite pragmatic, reasonable, rough, and mixture. The result is made for conversation study matter in seventh grade of junior high school.
