    Abstract

    Penelitian bertujuan menguji efektivitas problem solving training untuk mereduksi kecenderungan adiksi situs jejaring sosial yang dilakukan kepada tiga peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Bandung (1 laki-laki & 2 perempuan). Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain single subject model A/B. Instrumen yang digunakan disusun berdasarkan pengembangan dan perumusan teori adiksi situs jejaring sosial. Analisis perhitungan data menggunakan statistika deskriptif untuk melihat penurunan rata-rata skor kecenderungan adiksi serta analisis baseline A dan B. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan problem solving training efektif mereduksi kecenderungan adiksi situs jejaring sosial. Konselor diharapkan mampu menerapkan problem solving training untuk mereduksi kecenderungan adiksi situs jejaring sosial.

    The aimed of the research was to test the effectiveness of problem solving training to reduce the tendency of social networking sites addiction done towards three XI students of SMA Negeri 4 Bandung (1 male & 2 female). The approach used in this research was quantitative approach with a single subject design model A/B. The instrument used was arranged based on the development and formulation of the theories of social networking sites addiction. The data was analyzed by using descriptive statistical calculation to know the decrease of the average score of addiction tendency and the analysis of baseline A and B. The results showed that problem solving training was effective to reduce the tendency of social networking sites addiction. The counselor was expected be able to apply problem solving training to reduce the tendency of social networking sites addiction.
