    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari hasil pra-penelitian di SMPN 1 Lembang. Penulis menemukan beberapa masalah di kelas VIII B, yaitu rendahnya aktualisasi diri siswa untuk bekerjasama dalam kelompok. Hal ini terbukti sebagai berikut: Pertama, siswa selalu mengeluh dengan anggota yang sudah ditentukan. Kedua, pengerjaan tugas kelompok tidak dilakukan secara bersama-sama karena kurangnya antusias dan kepercayaan beberapa anggota untuk saling membantu. Ketiga. Kurangnya kepedulian untuk saling mendengarkan dan menanggapi antar siswa dalam kegiatan presentasi sehingga berlangsung gaduh. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, penulis menerapkan metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK)., dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di kelas VIII-B SMPN 1 Lembang menunjukan (1) Rancangan dalam menerapkan metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk ini peneliti melakukan diskusi dengan guru mitra sebagai upaya menyusun langkah yang benar sesuai dengan pembelajaran yang sedang berlangsung. (2) Pelaksanaan metode pembelajaran Gallery Walk pada penelitian ini guru melakukannya dalam dua siklus lima tindakan. Setiap siklus menugaskan siswa untuk membuat media kemudian dipresentasikan dengan cara berkeliling. (3) Kendala – kendala yang dihadapi saat penelitian adalah; penyesuaian siswa dengan metode yang baru dikenal, sulitnya siswa untuk kondusif, (4) Mengupayakan agar hambatan-hambatan dapat diatasi, yaitu dengan pengenalan metode dalam beberapa tindakan dan mencoba mengalihkan peserta didik agar bisa kondusif.;---This study is based on the results of the pre-research at SMPN 1 Lembang. The researcher found some problems in class VIII B, namely the low self-actualization of students to work in team. It has been proved as follows that: First, the students always complained with the determined members in their group. Second, the completion of the group's task was not performed together due to the lack of enthusiasm and trust of several members to help with one another. Third, the lack of interest in listening and responding among the students during presentation which resulted in noise. To overcome the aforementioned problems, the researcher applied the Gallery Walk learning method. The method used in this present study is the classroom action research (PTK) method, particularly through qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the study conducted in class VIII-B SMPN 1 Lembang showed that (1) In order to apply the draft of this learning method of Gallery Walk, the researcher conducted discussion with the teacher partners as an effort to arrange the right steps in accordance with the ongoing learning. (2) The implementation of Gallery Walk learning method in this study assigned the teachers to perform two cycles of five acts. Each cycle assigned the students to create media and then it should be presented the way around. (3) The obstacles faced during the research covered; the adaptation of students to the new method, the difficulty of students to be conducive, (4) In order to overcome the obstacles, it can be done by introducing the method in several actions and trying to divert the students to be conducive.
