Abstract
Anak ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) adalah anak yang memperlihatkan ciri atau gejala kurang konsentrasi, hiperaktif, dan implusif yang dapat menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan sebagian besar aktivitas kehidupannya. Konsentrasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan konsentrasi anak ADHD, peneliti melakukan aktivitas finger painting sebagai bentuk intervensi. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas finger painting (melukis dengan jari) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan konsentrasi anak ADHD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain single subject research A-B-A, yang memiliki tiga fase yaitu baseline-1 (A-1), intervensi (B), baseline-2 (A-2). Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan hasil pengolahan data, diketahui mean level pada fase baseline-1 (A-1) adalah 30, fase intervensi (B) meningkat menjadi 39, dan pada fase baseline-2 (A-2) meningkat menjadi 53,5. Peningkatan tersebut menandakan adanya pengaruh dari intervensi yang diberikan yaitu aktivitas finger painting terhadap peningkatan kemampuan konsentrasi anak ADHD. Secara umum hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa aktivitas finger painting berpengaruh dalam peningkatan konsentrasi anak ADHD, selain itu metode pembelajaran berupa aktivitas finger painting lebih baik daripada metode pembelajaran konvensional terhadap pengaruh peningkatan kemampuan konsentrasi anak ADHD. Penulis berharap penelitian ini dapat menjadi inovasi dan masukan terhadap program pembelajaran yang diajarkan di sekolah.;---Children with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) is children who show characteristics or symptoms of less concentration, hyperactivity, and implusif which can cause an imbalance most of his life activity. Concentration is needed to support the learning process. To help improve concentration ability of children with ADHD, it takes an finger painting activity as a form of intervention. Generally, this study aims to determine the effect of the activity of finger painting to increase concentration ability of children with ADHD. The method used in this study using an experimental method to the design of Single Subject Research A-B-A, which has three phases: baseline-1 (A-1), intervention (B), baseline-2 (A-2) . Based on the research and the data processing, known mean baseline level in phase - 1 (A-1) is 30, the intervention phase (B) increased to 39, and the baseline phase - 2 (A-2) increased to 53,5. Such improvements indicate the effect of the intervention given that the activity of finger painting to the increased concentration ability of children with ADHD. The increase is a sign of the effect of the intervention given that finger painting activities to sign of concentration ability of children with ADHD. In general the results of this study concluded that the activity of finger painting influential in increasing the concentration of children with ADHD, besides learning methods such as finger painting activity is better than conventional teaching methods to the increased influence of concentration ability of children with ADHD. The author hopes that this research can be input to the innovation and learning program is taught in schools.
