Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya remaja dalam mengklarifikasi identitas vokasionalnya sehingga membuat mereka belum dapat menentukan harapannya dimasa depan karena harapan remaja dimasa depan terutama dalam bidang karir masih didominasi oleh orang tua serta lingkungan. Status Identitas Vokasional merupakan posisi remaja terhadap pemahaman akan kemampuan, minat, tujuan serta keterampilan yang ada dalam dirinya dalam bereksplorasi dan berkomitmen. Harapan merupakan kemampuan untuk merencanakan strategi untuk mencapai suatu tujuan yang diinginkan dan kehendak untuk menggunakan strategi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status identitas vokasional dengan harapan remaja. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Lembang tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa status identitas vokasional dengan harapan remaja memiliki korelasi yang signifikan positif. Rekomendasi penelitian ditujukan kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling dan peneliti selanjutnya.;--- The study is grounded on the lacking of adolescences in clarifying their vocational identities which causes them to the inability in deciding their hopes in the future as their hopes in the future especially on their career is being dominated by their parents and their surroundings. Vocational Identity Statuses refers to adolescences’ positions of the adolescences’ understanding of their ability, interest, aim and skill in exploration and commitment. Hope means the ability to plan strategies to achieve a desired goal and the will to utilize those strategies. The aim of this research is to identify the correlation between Vocational Identity Statuses and Adolescences’ Hope. The approach used in this research is quantitative with correlation method. The population applied in this research is XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Lembang 2015/2016 period. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant correlation between Vocational Identity Statuses and Adolescences’ Hope. The research recommendation is means for guidance and counseling teachers and researchers in the future.
