Abstract
Kegiatan pramuka sebagai wahana pendidikan mempunyai peran besar dalam pembentukan kepribadian generasi muda agar memiliki pengendalian diri dan kecakapan hidup untuk menghadapi tantangan sesuai dengan tuntutan perubahan kehidupan lokal, nasional, dan global. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis (1) partisipasi generasi dalam kegiatan kepramukaan di Kota Bandung,(2) konsep dan implementasi pembelajaran kemandirian generasi muda dalam kegiatan kepramukaan di alam terbuka, (3) nilai kemandirian generasi muda dalam kegiatan kepramukaan di alam terbuka, (3) kendala dan upaya yang dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan kepramukaan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dengan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian Ketua, Bidang Waka Muda, dan anggota pramuka. Teknik analisis yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan (1) partisipasi generasi muda dalam mengikuti kegiatan pramuka adalah melalui kegiatan yang diselenggarakan Kwarcab Kota Bandung yaitu orientasi medan atau jelajah kota, kegiatan berkemah, petualangan atau pengembaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan minat generasi muda, (2) konsep pembelajaran kemandirian generasi muda di alam terbuka berbasis nilai Satya dan Dharma Pramuka dengan prinsip dasar, metode, dan sistem among kepramukaan yang dapat menghantar anggota pramuka untuk mandiri, (3) kegiatan di alam terbuka dapat membentuk nilai-nilai kemandirian generasi muda seperti perilaku mampu berinisiatif, menyelesaikan masalah, memiliki rasa percaya diri, melakukan sendiri tanpa bantuan orang lain, (4) kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan kepramukaan seperti faktor pembentukan kualitas pembina. Upaya yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pengkajian ulang sistem pembinaan dan daya dukung yang ideal untuk memberdayakan anggota serta lingkungannya sebagai tempat pembentukan kemandirian generasi muda.;---Scouting as an educational vehicle has a major role in shaping the personality of young people to have self-control and life skills to face the challenges in accordance with the demands for changes in local, national, and global. The purpose of this study to analyze (1) the participation of generation in scouting activities in the city of Bandung, (2) the concept and implementation of learning independence of the young generation in scouting activities in the open, (3) the value of the independence of the young generation in scouting activities in the open, (3) constraints and efforts made in the implementation of scouting activities. The approach used by qualitative and case study method. Data were collected by interview, observation, documentation. Chairman of the research subject, Binamuda Affairs, and members of the scout. Mechanical analysis of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions/verification. Results showed (1) the participation of young people in participating in Boy Scout activities is through the activities organized scout Bandung that field orientation or cruising the city, camping activities, adventure or twinning tailored to the needs and interests of the younger generation, (2) the concept of learning independence generation the young in outdoors on the value of Satya and Dharma Scout with the basic principles, methods, and systems Among scouting that can deliver scout members to be independent, (3) the outdoors can establish the values of the independence of the younger generation such as behavior capable of initiative, solve problems , have confidence, do their own without the help of others, (4) the obstacles in the implementation of scouting activities such as the establishment of the quality factor builder. Efforts is doing a review of the guidance system and the carrying capacity that is ideal for empowering members and the environment as a place of establishment of the independence of the younger generation.
