Abstract
Masa remaja adalah masa yang membingungkan dan penuh stres. Remaja adalah individu yang sedang dalam tahap perkembangan transisi antara masa anak-anak dan masa dewasa yang mencakup perubahan biologis, kognitif dan sosio-emosional. Pada tahapan ini, banyak permasalahan remaja yang sering muncul, beberapa terjadi pada dunia pendidikan. Remaja kerap mendapatkan perilaku kekerasan di sekolah, seperti perilaku kekerasan dari guru dan teman. Perilaku kekerasan ini dapat disebut dengan istilah bullying. Bullying adalah tekanan serta intimidasi terus-menerus yang dilakukan untuk menyakiti seseorang secara fisik maupun emosional. Perilaku bullying ini memiliki dampak terhadap korban, antara lain meningkatkan gejala-gejala emosional misalnya merasa tidak bahagia, tertekan dan sangat sedih dan meningkatkan stres. Remaja sebagai korban bullying sering mengalami ketakutan untuk pergi ke sekolah dan menjadi tidak percaya diri, merasa tidak nyaman dan tidak bahagia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat stres terhadap perilaku bullying pada siswa di SMPN 29 Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner DASS-21. Sampel yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas VII dan kelas VIII pada usia 12-14 tahun sebanyak 275 yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik insidental sampling dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan perhitungan distribusi frekuensi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa siswa yang memiliki tingkat stres normal 77,5%, yang memiliki tingkat stres ringan 16,4% dan yang memiliki tingkat stres sedang yaitu 6,2%. Dapat disimpulkan sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat stres normal. Adapun rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan kegiatan penyuluhan oleh guru konseling maupun petugas kesehatan tentang bahaya perilaku bullying, serta bimbingan dari orangtua untuk mengurangi angka kejadian bullying.;--- Adolescent period is a confusing and stressful period. Adolescents are individuals who are still in transitional development between childhood and adulthood, which that also involves biological, cognitive and socio-emotional changes. At this stage, there are so many problems among adolescents, some of them occur at the educational field. Adolescents often get harsh attitudes at schools, such as from teachers and peers. The harsh attitudes can be called as bullying. It is a continuous pressure and intimidation that is being done in order to harm someone physically and emotionally. Bullying attitude can impact the victims negatively, such as increasing emotional symptoms like unhappy, under-pressured and despondent feelings, along with increasing level of stress. The adolescents who become victims of bullying often experience fearsome feeling to go to school, which results in unconfident, uncomfortable, and unhappy feelings. This present research aims to discover the stress level on bullying attitude of the students of 29 Junior High School students in Bandung. This is a descriptive quantitative research, which applied DASS-21 questionnaire instrument as the technique to collect data. The samples of the research were 275 seventh and eighth grade students (aged 12-14 years old), who were selected by employing incidental sampling technique and analyzed descriptively and using frequency distribution calculation. The findings revealed that there were 77.5 % students who had normal level of stress, while those who had light level of stress were 16.4%, and there were 6.2% students who had moderate level of stress. From the aforementioned findings, it can be concluded that most of the respondents had normal level of stress. The research suggests that counseling teachers along with medical practitioners should conduct socialization on the danger of bullying attitude as well as counseling from the parents to reduce the level of bullying cases.
