Abstract

Prestasi belajar menjadi salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan peserta didik. Prestasi belajar dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik yang menunjukkan kepada faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri peserta didik, salah satunya adalah self-efficacy yang merujuk kepada keyakinan diri terhadap kemampuan yang dimiliki. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan prestasi belajar, serta dimensi-dimensi self-efficacy dengan prestasi belajar. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 477 peserta didik kelas X SMK Negeri 12 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 sebagai populasi penelitian. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. (1) Nilai r sebesar 0,216 dan p sebesar 0,000. Dengan merujuk pada ketentuan menolak H0 apabila angka p ≥ 0,05 dan tidak menolak H1 apabila p<0,05, maka hasil pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa menolak H0 dan tidak menolak H1, yang membuktikan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan prestasi belajar. (2) Dimensi magnitude, strength, dan generality pada self-efficacy memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan prestasi belajar. Nilai korelasi dimensi magnitude pada self-efficacy memiliki nilai korelasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dimensi strength dan generality. Data hasil penelitian dapat menjadi analisis need assessment guna pembuatan program bimbingan dan konseling untuk mengoptimalkan self-efficacy dan prestasi belajar peserta didik. ;---Learning achievement is one of numerous benchmarks of students’ success. Learning achievement is affected by characteristics inside the students themselves, one of them is self-efficacy which refers to self-confidence toward the abilities they possess. The aim of the research is to get the information about the relation between self-efficacy and learning achievement, with self-efficacy’s and learning achievement’s dimensions. The participants were 477 students of 10th grade class of 12 Vocational High School of Bandung in 2015/2016 Academic Years as the population with Correlational Study Method and Quantitative Approach. (1) The r score is 0,216 and p score is 0,000. By referring to the rejection of H0 if p ≥ 0,05 and the acceptance of H1 if p<0,05, the hypothesis test indicates that the rejection of H0 and the acceptance of H1 prove that there is a significance correlation between self-efficacy and learning achievement. (2) Magnitude, strength, and generality dimensions in self-efficacy have significance correlation with learning achievement. The correlation score of magnitude dimensions in self-efficacy is the highest compared to strength and generality dimensions. The data of the research’s result can be an analysis of need assessment for guidance and counseling program design to optimize students’ self-efficacy and learning achievement.
