Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh latihan murotal Al Qur’an terhadap atensi anak spektrum autistik. Untuk melihat suatu pengaruh intervensi terhadap target behavior pada penelitian ini, maka digunakan metode gabungan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan model concurrent embedded. Pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan dengan metode penelitian eksperimen Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa latihan murotal Al Quran memberikan pengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan atensi anak autistik. Secara kuantitatif diperoleh hasil berupa peningkatan mean level rentang atensi yaitu sebesar 17,3 menit pada fase baseline-1 (A-1), 21,6 menit pada fase intervensi (B) dan 22,1 menit pada fase baseline-2 (A-2). Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan untuk memperoleh data penguat berupa gambaran perilaku anak sebelum intervensi, pada saat intervensi dan setelah intervensi. Data didapatkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa kualitas atensi anak dominan dipengaruhi oleh faktor intern yaitu kesiapan mental anak terhadap tugas yang diberikan. Perilaku repetitive, ecolalia stereptype serta emosi yang tidak stabil menjadi kendala terciptanya atensi yang berkualitas. Setelah pemberian intervensi, terjadi perubahan perilaku ke arah yang positif. Emosi anak menjadi lebih tenang dan diekpresikan dengan cara yang lebih baik. Sensitifitas terhadap lingkungan semakin berkurang dan lebih terkendali. Intensitas perilaku khas seperti repetitive, ecolalia dan stereotype berangsur –angsur berkurang meskipun belum dapat dihilangkan sepenuhnya. Penurunan intensitas perilaku ini secara tidak langsung meningkatkan kualitas atensi anak. Maka latihan murotal Al Quran dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan dan mengoptimalkan kemampuan atensi yang dimiliki anak autistik.; This study aims to gain an overview of the effects of practicing murotal Qur'an to the attention of autistic spectrum disorder children. To see the impact on the target behavior in this study, we used a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods with concurrent embedded models. Single Subject Research (SSR) with the design of the A-B-A was used as the quantitative approach and the results of data analysis showed that practicing murotal Quran build a positive influence in improving the ability of autistic children attention. In obtained a subsequent increase in the mean level of attention span that is equal to 17.3 minutes at baseline phase-1 (A-1), 21.6 minutes in the intervention phase (B) and 22.1 minutes at baseline phase-2 (A- 2). A qualitative approach was conducted to obtain data in the form of a child's behavior before the intervention, at the time of the intervention and after the intervention. Data were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of qualitative data analysis showed that the quality of children's attention predominantly influenced by internal factors. Repetitive behavior, ecolalia stereptype and emotionally unstable were being the constraints of the attention. After administering the intervention, child’s behavior changes into a positive way. Child's emotions become calmer and expressed in a better way. Sensitivity to the environment is getting reduced and more controllable. The intensity of the typical behaviors such as repetitive, and stereotyped ecolalia gradually reduced , though can not be eliminated completely. A decrease in the intensity of this behavior indirectly improve the quality of attention of children. Then the practicing of murotal Quran can be used as an alternative to improve and optimize the attention of autistic children.
