Abstract
Bahan ajar merupakan komponen yang dibutuhkan pada setiap jenjang pendidikan yang disusun baik tertulis maupun tidak, berupa laat, bahan, hardware, maupun software, serta mengacu kepada standar kurikulum 2013 yang berlaku. Bagi sekolah kejuruan, bahan ajar menjadi standar materi yang harus dikuasai oleh siswa guna siap terjun ke dunia industri. Untuk itu, menyiapkan bahan ajar yang mengacu pada kebutuhan industri merupakan salah satu cara untuk memenuhi standar materi yang dibutuhkan industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari kesesuaian bahan ajar khususnya pada subjek Komunikasi Data yang terdapat di SMKN 1 Cimahi dan yang terdapat di DPTE UPI. Pada tahap akhir, materi yang terdapat dalam keduanya akan dianalisis kesesuaiannya dengan cakupan materi yang dibutuhkan di dunia industri telekomunikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan studi dokumentasi serta wawancara mendalam terhadap narasumber. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa terdapat 56 butir materi pokok yang terdapat di SMKN 1 Cimahi dan DPTE UPI, memiliki perbandingan tingkat kesesuaian dengan kebutuhan cakupan materi di industri sebesar 73,21%, sedangkan 21,42% cukup sesuai dan 5,35% tidak sesuai. Adanya pebedaan cakupan penguasaan materi ini karena menyesuaikan dengan standar kebutuhan masing-masing jenjang pendidikan dan ranah industri terkait. For vocational schools, learning materials become the standard material that must be mastered by the student in order to ready to plunge into the world of industry. So preparing learning materials referring to the needs of the industry is one way to meet the required standard industrial materials. This study aimed to explore the suitability of learning materials, especially on the subject contained in the Data Communications SMKN 1 Cimahi and contained in DPTE UPI. In the final stage, the material contained in both of them will be analyzed for compliance with the range of material that is needed in the telecommunications industry. Data collection techniques in this research is by using documentation as well as depth interviews with informants. The results of this study stated that there are 56 items to the subject matter contained in SMK 1 Cimahi and DPTE UPI, has a ratio of the level of compliance with the needs of the range of material in the industry amounted to 73.21%, while 21.42% is quite appropriate and 5.35% is not suitable. The difference their mastery of the material scope of this standard because it adapts to the needs of each level of education and the sphere related industries.
