Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Implementasi Kode Etik Profesi terhadap Profesionalisme Guru di Sekolah Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar Pengaruh Implementasi Kode Etik Profesi terhadap Profesionalisme Guru di Sekolah Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia”. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Total populasi penelitian di Sekolah Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia sebanyak 135 guru, dan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 57 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menggunakan Weighted Means Score (WMS) diperoleh tingkat kecenderungan umum dari variabel X (Implementasi Kode Etik Profesi) tinggi dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 2,81. Sedangkan tingkat kecenderungan umum dari variabel Y (Profesionalisme Guru) menunjukan tinggi dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 2,78. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa variabel X dan Y berdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan hasil nilai koefisien korelasi variabel X dan variabel Y adalah sebesar 0,433, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hubungan antara dua variabel berada pada kategori kuat dan terdapat korelasi yang positif. Berdasarkan hasil uji signifikan diketahui bahwa thitung> ttabel yaitu 3,563> 2,004. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara variabel X (Implementasi Kode Etik Profesi) dan variabel Y (Profesionalisme guru), artinya pengaruh antara implementasi kode etik profesi dan profesionalisme guru dapat berlaku untuk semua populasi. Sedangkan hasil perhitungan uji determinasi diketahui bahwa variabel X memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel Y sebesar 18,8% dan sisanya sebesar 81,2% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian statistik secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Terdapat Pengaruh yang Positif dan Signifikan antara Pengaruh Implementasi Kode Etik Profesi terhadap Profesionalisme Guru di Sekolah Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia” terbukti kebenarannya atau dapat diterima. This research aims to find out how big an effect of implementation of the profession code of conduct towards teacher’s professionalism in Sekolah Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia ". Researcher use descriptive method quantitative approach. Population in Sekolah Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia has 135 teachers, and this research sample has 57 people. Based on results of processing data using Weighted Means Score (WMS) obtained level of the general trend of variable X (implementation of the profession code of conduct) with high average score of 2.81. While the general trend rate of variable Y (teacher’s professionalism) indicates high with average score of 2.78. Based on results of a test of normality indicate that variable X and Y Gaussian. Based on results of correlation coefficient values of variable X and variable Y is 0.433, then it can be inferred that relationship between two variables is in strong category and there is a positive correlation. Based on results from significant test that tcount > ttable i.e. 3.563 > 2.004. Thus it can be stated that there is a significant relationship between variable X (implementation of the profession code of conduct) and variable Y (teacher’s professionalism), it means the influence between implementation of the profession code of conduct and teacher’s professionalism can be applied to all population. While results of calculation determination test as known that variable X gives effect on variable Y of 18.8% and the rest amounted to 81.2% is affected by other factors. Based on results statistical test, overall, it can be concluded that "there is a positive and significant Influence between implementation of the profession code of conduct towards teacher’s professionalism in Sekolah Laboratorium Percontohan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia" proved its righteousness or acceptable.
