Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena masih rendahnya perilaku belajar efektif siswa. Perilaku belajar akan berpengaruh pada keberhasilan dan kegagalan siswa dalam menempuh pendidikannya. Untuk memperbaiki perilaku belajar pada taraf yang lebih baik, maka dibutuhkan pondasi dan keinginan yang kuat serta kesungguhan dari dalam diri siswa itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan belajar untuk mengembangkan perilaku belajar efektif siswa. Untuk memenuhi tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan metode R & D (Research and Development) atau metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket perilaku belajar efektif siswa, pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif (Mixed Methodology Design). Hasil penelitian di SMA Negeri 11 Garut menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perilaku belajar siswa kelas XI IPS Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 pada umumnya berada pada kategori rendah. Perilaku belajar siswa yang masih rendah atau belum efektif ini terlihat pada kelima dimensi yang menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini, yaitu sikap belajar, minat belajar, kemandirian belajar, motivasi berprestasi, dan pengelolaan diri dalam belajar (Academic Self Management). (2) Program bimbingan belajar efektif untuk mengembangkan perilaku belajar efektif siswa. Dengan demikian program bimbingan belajar hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk menjadi bagian dari program bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif yang diterapkan di sekolah dan pelaksanaannya melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru bimbingan dan konseling, wali kelas, guru mata pelajaran, serta seluruh personil sekolah lainnya. Kata Kunci: Program Bimbingan Belajar, Perilaku Belajar Efektif This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the low effective student learning behavior. Learning behavior will affect the success and failure of students in his education. To improve the learning behavior at a better level, then the required foundation and a strong desire and sincerity of the student's own. The objectives of this research is to produce a learning guidance program for developing efective learning behavior of students. To meet these objectives, this study using the R & D (Research and Development). The instrument used was a questionnaire of effective student learning behavior, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis (Mixed Methodology Design). The results of the research in SMAN 11 Garut show that: (1) The students learning behavior of class XI IPS for Academic Year 2012/2013 in general is in the low category. The learning behavior of students who are low or not effective is seen in the five dimensions that the primary focus in this study, namely; the attitude of learning, the interest in learning, the independence of learning, achievement motivation, and self-management in learning (Academic Self Management). (2) The learning guidance program ist effective to develop effective student learning behavior. Thus the learning guidance program that the results of this research is recommended to be a part of a comprehensive guidance and counseling program that implemented in schools and implementation involves principals, guidance and counseling teachers, “wali kelas”, subject teachers, as well as all other school personnels.
