Abstract

Penelitian ini mencoba menerapan Model pembelajaran Inkuiri dalam modifikasi permainan Vobas (voli, basket, dan sepakbola) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan bermain pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain randomize pretest-posttest control group design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN Jatinangor. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas sepuluh SMA Negeri Jatinangor. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 60 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 30 siswadari kelompok eksperimen dan 30 siswa pada kelompok kontrol. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan GPAI untuk mengukur keterampilan bermain. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t, melalui SPSS 16 pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu :1) terdapat pengaruh model Pembelajaran Inkuiri terhadap Keterampilan Bermain bola besar, diperoleh Sig.(2-tailed) 0,000 < α = 0,05;. 2) Terdapat pengaruh model Pembelajaran Konvesional terhadap Keterampilan Bermain bola besar, diperoleh Sig.(2-tailed) 0,032 < α = 0,05;. 3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh keterampilan bermain bola besar siswa kelompok model pembelajaran Inkuiri dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvesional , diperoleh Sig.(2-tailed) 0,001< α = 0,05. kesimpulan : 1) terdapat pengaruh modifikasi permainan vobas terhadap Keterampilan Bermain Bola Besar; 2) Terdapat pengaruh modifikasi permainan Vobas melalui model Pembelajaran Konvesional terhadap Keterampilan Bermain Bola Besar; 3) Terdapat perbedaan pengaruh keterampilan bermain bola besar siswa kelompok model pembelajaran Inkuiri dengan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvesional. ---------- This study attempts to implement inquiry learning model in modifying Vobas (volleyball, basketball, and football) games towards the improvement of students’ big ball skills in high school. The method used in this study is experimental method comprising randomize pretest-posttest control group design. The research site of the study is SMAN Jatinangor and its population is all tenth graders in the school. Through cluster random sampling, 60 students (30 of them are in experimental group and the rest are in control group) are chosen to be this study’s sample. This study administers GPAI as its instrument and t-test using SPSS 16 with the significance level of α = 0.05 as its data analysis. After analyzing all the data collected, the study found out that (1) there is a significant influence between inquiry learning model towards students’ big ball skills with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < α = 0.05; (2) there is a significant influence between conventional learning model towards students’ big ball skills with the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.032 < α = 0.05; and (3) there is significant difference between group using inquiry learning method and group using conventional learning method with the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.001< α = 0.05. Based on those results, it can be concluded that (1) there is significant influence on Vobas games modification towards big ball skills; (2) there is significant influence on Vobas games modification using conventional learning method towards big balls skills; and (3) there is significant difference between group using inquiry learning model and group using conventional learning model on Vobas games modification.
