Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya fenomena ketidaktepatan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang menimbulkan anggapan-anggapan berbasis negatif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dirumuskan permasalahan, yaitu: (1) jenis praanggapan apa sajakah yang terdapat dalam novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk?, (2) bagaimanakah hasil praanggapan dalam novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk?, (3) bagaimana penyajian bahan dan kegiatan pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi berdasarkan hasil penelitian? Kemudian, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis praanggapan yang terdapat dalam novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk; memaparkan praanggapan yang terdapat dalam novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk; dan membuat bahan dan kegiatan pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi untuk tingkat SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumen. Data yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata atau ujaran yang terdapat dalam novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk karya Tere Liye yang akan dianalisis memakai teori praanggapan Yule. Berdasarkan hasil analisis praanggapan pada novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk, peneliti menemukan enam jenis praanggapan yang terdapat dalam novel tersebut. Dalam novel Negeri di Ujung Tanduk terdapat 77 jenis konteks, dari 77 konteks yang terdapat dalam novel tersebut, ternyata tidak semuanya terdapat praanggapan, konteks yang memiliki praanggapan hanya berjumlah 30 buah konteks. Dari 30 buah konteks tersebut, total praanggapannya berjumlah 56 buah yang masing-masing tersebar ke dalam 6 jenis praanggapan. Praanggapan eksistensial yang terdapat dalam novel sebanyak 7 buah, praanggapan faktif sebanyak 14 buah, praanggapan nonaktif sebanyak 9 buah, praanggapan leksikal sebanyak 9 buah, praanggapan struktural sebanyak 5 buah, dan praanggapan konterfaktual sebanyak 12 buah. Hasil penemuan ini kemudian dimanfaatkan untuk membuat bahan dan kegiatan pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi di SMA.----------The background of this research is the phenomenon of the utilizing of Bahasa Indonesia being unvalued in political environment which means by used as a container to inflame conflicts that raised negative assumptions toward its political languageand use an article as source. According to the background of the problems, then the researcher formulated those research problems: 1. How many type of presupposition in Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel? 2. How are the result presuppositions on Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel? 3. How does the researcher present the teaching materials and activities for SMA based on the result of research? Subsequently, the purpose of this research is to identify the types of presupposition in Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel, explaining the presupposition of Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel, and create teaching material for writing and activities eksposition text insight in SMA level. This research method is qualitative method finding the data collection using document study. The data was obtained through words and utterances in Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novelby TereLiye that will be analyzed usingPresupposition theory by George Yule. According to the presupposition result in Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel, the researcher obtained six types of presupposition. There is 77 context typesin Negeri di Ujung Tanduk novel those are 30 contexts which have context of presupposition, the total presupposition of 30 contexts are 56 which is spread in 6 presupposition types those are seven existential presuppositions, fourteen factive presuppositions, nine non-factive presuppositions, nine lexical presuppositions, five structural presuppositions, twelve counter-factual presuppositions. These findings will be used to create teaching material in writing and activities eksposition text insight in SMA level.
