Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat belajar matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi geometri di kelas X SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung yang berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara yang disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Oleh karena itu peneliti akan meneliti beberapa aspek yang terangkum dalam pertanyaan penelitian: 1) Bagaimana kondisi objektif pembelajaran matematika pada materi geometri bagi siswa tunarungu kelas X SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung? 2) Faktor apa saja yang menjadi penghambat dan pendukung dalam pembelajaran matematika pada materi geometri bagi siswa tunarungu kelas X SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung?. 3). Bagaimana hasil FGD rancangan pengembangan program pembelajaran matematika pada materi geometri bagi siswa tunarungu kelas X SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung? 4) Bagaimana hasil uji pelaksanaan terbatas pengembangan program pembelajaran matematika pada materi geometri bagi siswa tunarungu kelas X SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung? Penelitian ini penggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Dimana pengembangan program yang telah disusun berdasarkan hasil analisis berdasarkan kondisi objektif pembelajaran dan faktor pendukung serta hambatannya, kemudian di validasi oleh para ahli melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan di uji cobakan. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan beberapa hal: pertama, kondisi objektif pembelajaran membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran matematika pada materi geometri belum maksimal terlaksanakan dan perlunya disusun lebih lanjut pengembangan program pembelajaran matematika pada materi geometri berdasarkan kebutuhan yang telah diproleh pada hasil pengumpulan data. Kedua, terdapat beberapa faktor hambatan dalam pembelajaaran matematika pada materi geometri dan faktor pendukungnya yang menjadi acuan pada perumusan pengembangan program. Ketiga, pengembangan program pembelajaran telah di validasi oleh para ahli melalui FGD dengan beberaa revisian. Keempat, hasil FGD pengembangan program pembelajaran di uji coba terbatas, hasil uji coba terbatas dapat dinyatakan bahwa pengembangan program terjalani dengan baik dan memenuhi kebutuhan pembelajaran.----------This research was initiated by students’ lack of interest in learning Mathematics, especially on geometry for grade ten of SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung. This research was a result from observation and interview that considered several factors. The research questions are: 1) What are the objective conditions of learning Mathematics on geometry for the students with a hearing impairment for grade ten of SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung? 2) What are the factors that can become an obstacle or a contribution in learning Mathematics on geometry for grade ten of SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung? 3) How is the result of FGD (Focus Group Discussion) Mathematics learning program on geometry for students with a hearing impairment in grade ten SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung? 4) How is the development of limited test implementation for Mathematics learning program on geometry for students with a hearing impairment in grade ten SMALB SLB B Sukapura Bandung?. This research was using qualitative descriptive approach. The development of the program was built based on the result of the analised learning objective conditions and supportive factors as well as its obstacles; which then validated by experts using Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and tested. The result of this research have concluded several matters: first, the condition of the learning objectives proved that learning Mathematics on geometry have not been implemented optimally and the needs to revise the development of Mathematics learning program on geometry based on the needs from the data gathered. Second, there are several obstacles in learning Mathematics on geometry; and its supportive factors that became the base to formulate the program development. Third, the development of learning program have been validated by experts using FGD with several revisions. Fourth, the result of FGD limited test on learning program development; the result of limited test concluded that the development of learning program was well-conducted and have met the learning needs.
