    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan yang efektif dengan menggunakan teknik finger painting untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen kuasi dengan nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design, pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman observasi, dan wawancara. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2012-2013 di PAUD Nurrahman Tanjung Barat Jakarta Selatan dengan populasi penelitian pada kelas B berjumlah 34 siswa, untuk pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sample, diperoleh 16 siswa yang dibagi pada kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 8 orang dan kelompok kontrol sebanyak 8 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program bimbingan dengan menggunakan teknik finger painting efektif untuk mengembangkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini bagi kepala sekolah, pendidik atau guru PAUD, dan peneliti selanjutnya.

    The research aimed to produce an effective guidance program using finger painting technique to develop the creativity early-aged children. The method of the research employed quasi-experiment with nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design, and qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through observations, and interviews. The research was conducted during the school year of 2012-2013 in PAUD Nurrahman, Tanjung Barat, South Jakarta, with class B as its population, consisting of 34 students. The sample for this research was taken using purposive sampling technique, resulting in the selection of 16 students, which were then divided into experiment and control groups, with 8 students for each of the groups respectively. The outcomes of the research showed that guidance program using finger painting technique was effective to develop the creativity of early-aged childen. The outcomes are recommended for principals, teachers or instructors of early childhood shools, and further researches.
