    Abstract

    Rencana strategik (renstra) merupakan salah satu alat yang dibutuhkan oleh perguruan tinggi untuk menghadapi setiap tantangan yang datang dari lingkungan yang selalu berubah-ubah. Salah satu komponen yang terpenting dari renstra adalah implementasi. Faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi renstra diantaranya adalah intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi. Intellectual capital merupakan sumberdaya intangible berupa pengetahuan, informasi, pengalaman, dan komitmen untuk memanfaatkannya. Sedangkan komunikasi organisasi merupakan proses penyampaian dan penerimaan pesan dalam suatu organisasi yang berkenaan dengan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa pengaruh intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner yang di dukung dengan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dekan, ketua departemen dan ketua prodi dengan jumlah total 89 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran umum efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI, intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi berada pada kategori tinggi. Secara parsial, intellectual capital dan komunikasi organisasi memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI. Selanjutnya secara simultan, juga memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi Renstra UPI. ---------- Strategic planning is one of the tools needed by universities to face any challenges that come from environment that is always dynamic. One of the most important components of the strategic planning is implementation. Two factors that affect the implementation of strategic planning are intellectual capital and organizational communication. Intellectual capital is an intangible resource such as knowledge, information, experience and commitment to exploit. While organizational communication is a process of delivering and receiving messages within an organization which relates to the task.This research is aimed to describle and analyze the effect of intellectual capital and organizational communication towards the effectiveness of strategic planning implementation at UPI. This research employed survey method with quantitative approach. Data collecting technique used was a questionnaire. The participants of this research were
    Dean, Department Chairman, and study Program Chairman with a total 89 people. The findings showed that the general description of the effectiveness of strategic planning implementation at UPI.Intellectual capital and organizational communication are at the high category. Partially, intellectual capital and organizational communication have a significant influence on the effectiveness of strategic planning implementation at UPI. Furthermore, simultaneously they also have a significant influence on the effectiveness of strategic planning implementation at UPI.
