Abstract
Pariwisata merupakan industri yang dinilai menjanjikan dalam membantuk keadaan ekonomi dan kesejahteraan sebuah Negara. Ada banyak hal yang mendukung kegiatan pariwisata, salah satu sektor yang berperan penting adalah sarana akomodasi. Ada beberapa sarana akomodasi seperti travel agent, hotel dan restoran. Hotel merupakan salah satu akomodasi yang penting bagi para wisatawan untuk menginap. Saat ini persaingan dalam industri hotel sangatlah tinggi, banyak sekali hotel yang memiliki strategi jitu dalam memasarkan hotel mereka. The Royale Krakatau hotel merupakan salah satu hotel yang berada di daerah cilegon banten. The Royale Krakatau Hotel merupakan hotel yang telah lama berdiri, hotel yang awalnya hanyalahberupa guest house dan sekarang telah menjadi hotel bintang 4. WalaupunThe Royale Krakatau Hotel telah berdiri cukup lama namun fasilitas yang tersedia tidak kalah lengkap dengan hotel lainnya. Berbagai cara dilakukan The Royale Krakatau Hotel untuk bersaing dengan hotel lainnya agar dapat meningkatkan keputusan menginap tamu. Salah satunya dengan melakukan program green hotel. Green hotel merupakan strategi dimana dalam pelaksanaanya program ini memperhatikan beberapa hal seperti lingkungan yang bersih, hijau dan tertata rapi melalui penerapan pembangunan pengembangan akomodasi berwawasan lingkungan. Green hotel merupakan variable x dalam penelitian ini yang terdiri dari recyled material, recylable, low-polluting, dan energi saving. Sedangkan variable terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah keputusan menginap yang terdiri dari PilihanProduk, PemilihanBrand (Merek), Waktu Kunjungan, Jumlah pembelian dan Metode Pembayaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif, dan metode pengambilan sampel yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 100 responden tamu FIT yang menginap di The Royale Krakatau Hotel Cilegon. Teknik analisis data dan uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara program green hotel terhadap keputusan menginap tamu di The Royal Krakatau Hotel Cilegon. Kata kunci: Green Hotel,Recyled Material, Recylable, Low-polluting, dan Energi Saving, Keputusan MenginapTamu, The Royale Krakatau Hotel Cilegon. Tourism is an industry that is considered promising in helping the economy and prosperity of a country. There are many things that support tourism, a sector that is important in the means of accommodation. There are several accommodation facilities such as travel agents, hotels and restaurants. Hotel is one property which is important for travelers to stay. Nowadays, competition among hotel industries is very high. There are a lot of hotels that have proven strategies in marketing their hotels. The Royale Krakatau is one of the hotels which located in Cilegon, Banten area. The Royale Krakatau hotel is a hotel that has been existing for a long time, was originally only in the form of a guest house, and now it has become a 4 star hotel. Although the Royale Krakatau Hotel has been existing for a long time, the available facilities are not less complete than other hotels. The Royale Krakatau Hotel does various methods to compete with other hotels in order to enhance guest staying decision. One of them is by using green hotel program. Green hotel is a strategy in which the implementation of this program considers several things such as clean, green, and well-organized environment through the implementation of environment development which is based on environmental concept. Green hotel is x variable in this study which consists of recycled materials, recyclable, low-polluting and energy saving. The dependent variable in this study is a decision to stay which consists of product selection, brand selection, visit time, total purchases and payment method. This research is descriptive verification, and sampling method is obtained from 100 respondents of FIT guests who stay at the Royale Krakatau Hotel Cilegon. The used technique of data analysis and hypothesis testing is multiple regression analysis. The result showed that there are positive influences between green hotel programs and the decision to stay at the Royal Krakatau Hotel Cilegon.
