Abstract

Dalam Penelitain ini yang berjudul “Pengaruh Pemberian Kompensasi Terhadap Prestasi Kerja Pegawai di Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan IV Kementrian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat”. Permasalah yang ditemukan di lapangan yaitu pemberian kompensasi yang tidak sesuai dengan kontribusi kerja dan kurangnya keaktifan pegawai dalam melaksanakan tugas sehingga berdampak kepada tidak meningkatnya prestasi kerja pegawai. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi di Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan IV Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat sebanyak 42 dan sampel yang di ambil dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 42 responden dengan menggunakan total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode angket kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan menggunakan skala likert. Uji persyaratan menggunakan uji normalitas dengan hasil uji kedua variabel tersebut yaitu varibel X(Pemberian Kompensasi dan Variabel Y (Prestasi kerja) dinyatakan normal. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengankecenderungan skor rata-rata untu variabel X (Pemberian Kompensasi) dikategorikan sangat baik dan variabel Y (Prestasi Kerja Pegawai) dikategorikan sangat baik dan juga metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi, uji signifikansi, uji determinasi dan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pemberian kompensasi terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai sebesar 4,67% dan 5,47% di pengaruhi oleh faktor lain . Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pegawai akan memberikan kontribusi kerjanya sesuai dengan apa yang ditugaskan apabila lembaga memperhatikan dan memenuhi kebutuhan-kebutuhan meraka hal ini akan berdampak kepada prestasi kerja pegawai yang meningkat dan juga tujuan lembaga akan tercapai karena kinerja pegawai meningkat dan pegawai lebih produktif. This study entitled “The Influence of Giving Compensation to Worker’s Working Performance in Civic Education and Training IV of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing”. The problem found in the field was that the compensation given was not appropriate with the working contribution and the lack of productivity from the workers in carrying out the task that have an impact on the worker’s low working performance.The methods used in this study is descriptive with quantitative approach. The total population in Civic Education and Training IV of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is 42 and the sample taken in this study is 42 respondent by using total sampling. The data was collected by using questionnaire then consulted using Lakert scale. Test requirements using normality test with test results of both variables are variables X (Provision of Compensation) and Variable Y (Working Performance) otherwise normal. Based on the result of the data processing with the tendency of the average score for the variable X (Provision of Compensation) categorized as excellent and varibale Y (Working Performance) categorized as excellent as well and the method of analysis used are correlation test, significant test, determination test, and regression test. The result of this study shows that there is a positive correlation between the provision of compensation with the workers’ working performance as big as 4,67% and 5,47% influenced by other factors. This shows that the workers will contribute its work in accordance with what is assigned if institutions pay attention to and meet their needs that results in the increase of the working performance of the workers and also the institution’s goals will be achieved because the performance of the workers are increased and the workers are more productive.
