Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 3 Cibodas Kecamatan Lembang Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 37 orang. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya nilai hasil ulangan IPA pada materi gaya, hal ini ditandai masih banyak nilai siswa yang dibawah niali KKM sebesar 57%, padahal target yang diharapkan seluruh siswa dapat mencapai nilai KKM dengan rata-rata kelas 85, demikian pula cara guru melaksanakan pembelajaran hanya menggunakan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini ditujukan pada penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share dalam pembelajaran IPA materi gaya. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA materi gaya melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengadaptasi model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart dengan tiga siklus, yang pada setiap siklusnya dilakukan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi tindakan Hasil penelitian dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share dalam pembelajaran IPA materi gaya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan proses pembelajaran. Terlihat rata-rata siswa pada tiga ranah, yaitu kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Pada ranah kognitif, perolehan nilai siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA materi gaya mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus pertama nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 70,67 dengan siswa yang diatas KKM sebesar 89,18%. Pada siklus kedua mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 77,43 atau sebanyak 94,59% siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM dan semakin meningkat pada siklus ketiga yaitu mencapai rata-rata kelas 85,33 atau 100% siswa mencapai nilai KKM. Pada ranah afektif juga mengalami peningkatan, pada siklus I mencapai 56,1%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 67,5% dan siklus III mencapai 79,1%. Demikian pula pada ranah psikomotor, pada siklus I mencapai 60,17%, siklus II meningkat menjadi 70,17% dan siklus III menjadi 78,21%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share dalam pembelajaran IPA materi gaya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 3 Cibodas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, saran yang hendak disampaikan adalah apabila akan melakukan pembelajaran IPA materi gaya lakukanlah dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair and Share. The research was conducted at SDN 3 Cibodas District Lembang West Bandung regency. The subjects were students of class V which amounts to 37 people. This research is motivated low value of the test results on material style IPA, it is characterized many of the students are under niali KKM by 57%, whereas the expected target all students can achieve the KKM with an average grade of 85, as well as how teachers implement instructional just use the lecture method. This study is aimed at the application of the learning model and Think Pair Share in material science learning style. Based on these problems, the research objectives to be achieved is to improve student learning outcomes in science teaching materials through the application of models of learning styles Think Pair and Share. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which adapt the model Kemmis & Mc. Taggart with three cycles, each cycle performed in the planning, implementation, observation, reflection and action research results with the application of the Think Pair and Share learning in science teaching style materials showed an increase in the learning process. Seen an average student in three domains, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. In the cognitive domain, students' grades in science teaching style materials has increased. In the first cycle of the average value of students achieving students above 70.67 with 89.18% KKM. In the second cycle increased with the average value reached 77.43 or as much as 94.59% of students who achieved the KKM and increased in the third cycle, reaching an average grade 85.33 or 100% of students achieving the KKM. In the affective domain also increased, in the first cycle reaches 56.1%, the second cycle increased to 67.5% and 79.1% reached the third cycle. Similarly in the psychomotor domain, in the first cycle reached 60.17%, the second cycle increased to 70.17% and 78.21% to the third cycle. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of learning models and Think Pair Share in materials science teaching styles to improve learning outcomes fifth grade students at SDN 3 Cibodas. Based on these results, suggestions are to be submitted prior to performing the material science learning style model of learning do with the Think Pair and Share.
