Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Tari Gatotkaca Bogor Karya Wawan Dewantara (Analisis Gerak, Rias dan Busana)”. Narasumber utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu Wawan Dewantara selaku pewaris tari Gatotkaca Bogor. Tari Gatotkaca Bogor ini termasuk dalam rumpun tari Wayang yang berlandaskan cerita pewayangan etnis Sunda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh data mengenai struktur koreografi, rias, busana, serta musik pengiring tari Gatotkaca Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis yang dikaji melal ui pendekatan kualitatif serta etnokoreologi sebagai pisau bedahnya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil temuan pada penelitian ini adalah struktur koreografi tari Gatotkaca Bogor dilihat dari gerak khas tersendiri. Ciri khas tari Gatotkaca Bogor diantaranya, gerak khas gedut, reureuh cindek dan jangkung ilo Bogoran serta rias, busana dan musik pengiring yang mendukung penyajian tari Gatotkaca Bogor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa tari Gatotkaca Bogor merupakan tari Wayang dari Bogor dengan tema gandrung, berlandaskan cerita wayang yang menggambarkan Gatotkaca sedang jatuh cinta terhadap Dewi Pergiwa dan memiliki ciri khas gerak yang terinspirasi oleh kesenian silat Cimande yang tidak didapatkan pada tari Gatotkaca lainnya. Kata Kunci : gatotkaca, gerak, rias, dan busana. The research title is “Gatotkaca Bogor Dance by Wawan Dewantara” (analysis of motion, make up, and costume). This Gatotkaca Bogor dance include in group of the Puppet dance based on Puppet stories of Sunda ethnic. The purpose of this research is to obtain the data about choreography structure, make up, costume, as well as the music of Gatotkaca Bogor dance. The method used in this research is the method of descriptive analysis of the review through the qualitative as well as ethnochoreology as scalpel. The technique data collection is done by way of observation, interview, library, and documentation. The findings in this research is the structure of the choreography Gatotkaca Bogor dance from the motion typical of its own. Characteristic of Gatotkaca Bogor dance is Gedut motion, Reureuh Cindek and Jangkung Ilo Bogoran motion and also make up, costume and music who supporting the presentation of Gatotkaca Bogor dance. Based on the result of research that Gatotkaca are in love with Dewi Pergiwa and has a typical motion that was inspired by Silat Cimande who don’t get on the another Gatotkaca dance.
