Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas aplikasi teknik permainan ‘’Bingo’’ dan bertujuan untuk mengkaji : (1) penerapan teknik permainan ‘’Bingo’’ dalam pembelajaran menyimak Bahasa Perancis, (2) memperoleh hasil data dari kemampuan menyimak siswa SMA pasca penerapan teknik permainan Bingo, dan (3) memperoleh data hasil kelebihan serta kekurangan dari penerapan teknik permainan Bingo tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pra-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one shot case study . teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah studi pustaka, observasi, tes dan angket. Dari hasil data tes yang diperoleh, peneliti mendapatkan hasil yang baik yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 78.35. Adapun hasil data angket, terdapat 80% responden merasa tertarik dengan permainan “Bingo” yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran menyimak ini. Dari data tersebut maka dapat dilihat bahwa teknik permainan ini dapat digunakan dalam keterampilan menyimak Bahasa Perancis dan dapat membantu meningkatkan motivasi serta minat siswa dalam kegiatan menyimak bahasa asing, dalam hal ini Bahasa Perancis. Namun, teknik permainan ini juga memiliki kelemahan, yaitu : (1) gambar yang sedikit kurang jelas dan (2) ukuran kelas yang terlalu besar sehingga audio kurang terdengar. Maka dari itu jika ingin menerapkan permainan ini, maka pemilihan gambar harus lebih diperhatikan dan sebaiknya kegiatan ini dilakukan di laboratorium bahasa, sehingga audio dapat terdengar dengan lebih baik. Kata kunci : Bahasa Perancis, keterampilan menyimak, teknik permainan “Bingo”, Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). This study is aimed to : (1) application of Bingo games for listening comprehension in French; (2) measure the students’ skill level of listening comprehension; (3) determine the advantages and disadvantages of Bingo games. The method used in this research is a pre-experimental methode with one-shot case research design. The data is collected by doing several techniques such as literature study, observation, tests and questionnaire. There are steps of learning activities : (1) the researcher explains the subject about profession and public place; (2) The researcher explains about Bingo games and the steps about how to play this games; (3) The researcher distribute 10 pieces of Bingo coins and Bingo board (complete with 25 kind of picture) to the 20 students; (4) The researcher turns on the audio, and asked the students to listen to the expression from audio and answer to the questions while sticking Bingo coins to the suitable picture as a good answer on the Bingo board; (5) The students who can stick 10 Bingo coins as their good answer and have same design belongs to researcher, should say Bingo and they become a winner; (6) The researcher gives another test about profession and public place as post test to the students. From the research, it can be concluded that the result of the data is the mark average in the class is 78.35 in addition, the result of the questionnaire shows that 80% of the students are interested in Bingo games. Based on these data, it can be seen that Bingo games can be used for one technique of listening comprehension in French and also help students in increasing their motivation for listening comprehension, in this case French as foreign language, Keywords : technique games, Bingo Games, listening comprehension
