Abstract
Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kinerja usaha. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan turunnya jumlah produksi, menurunnya jumlah unit usaha, dan rendahnya volume penjualan. Fenomena tersebut harus segera ditangani karena pengusaha memegang peranan penting dalam pencapaian tujuan usaha. Orientasi kewirausahaan dijadikan suatu cara untuk meningkatkan kinerja usaha. Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati merupakan salah satu sentra industri yang memproduksi berbagai jenis pakaian yang berbahan rajut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran 1) Orientasi kewirausahaan yang diterapkan Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati, 2) Kinerja usaha Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati, 3) Besarnya pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja usaha Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengusaha Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati Bandung. Variabel bebas (X) dalam penelitian ini adalah orientasi kewirausahaan dan variabel terikat (Y) yaitu kinerja usaha. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode explanatory survey dengan teknik sampel simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 75 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear sederhana, dengan bantuan program SPSS 21.0 for windows. Hasil temuan dalam penelitian ini antara lain sebagai berikut: 1) orientasi kewirausahaan pada Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati dalam kategori sangat tinggi, 2) kinerja usaha Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati dalam kategori baik, 3) kinerja usaha dipengaruhi secara positif oleh orientasi kewirausahaan dengan koefisien determinasinya sebesar 40,8%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan sebagai dasar untuk dilakukannya penelitian lain mengenai orientasi kewirausahaan dengan indikator dan objek yang berbeda. The background of this research is a low performance of business. It is marked by the decline in capacity of production, decrease of business unit, and decrease volume of sales. These phenomenon must be addressed because the entrepreneur’s play an importan role in achieving corporate goals. Entrepreneurial orientation made a way to improve business performace. Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati is one of industrial centers that producing various kinds of garments made from knit. The purpose of this research is to describe 1) Entrepreneurial Orientation applied by the Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati, 2) Business Performance in Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati, 3) The influece of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati. The object of this research is an entrepreneur’s of Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati in Bandung. The independent variable (X) in this research is the entrepreneurial orientation, while the dependent variable (Y) in this research is business performance. This type of research is descriptive and verification. The methode used in this research is the explanatory survey method and the amount of saturated samples with simple random sampling as many 75 people. Technical analysis of the data used in this research in linear regression with SPSS 21.0 for windows. The result of this research are: 1) Entrepreneurial Orientation in Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati in very high category, 2) Business Performance in Sentra Industri Rajutan Binong Jati in the high category, 3) business performance is positively influenced by the entrepreneurial orientation with determination coefficient is 40,8%. Based on the result of this research, it is recommended as the basis for other research about entrepreneurial orientation with deifferent indicators and objects.
