Abstract
Mutu sekolah diasumsikan sebagai sejumlah karakteristik mutu yang dimiliki sekolah yaitu mutu input, mutu proses, dan mutu output. Argumen umum yang berkembang bahwa mutu sekolah dalam hal ini mutu sekolah dasar dapat dinilai dari prestasi siswa, baik prestasi akademik maupun non akademik yang dapat menjamin lulusannya dapat melanjutkan ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Prestasi siswa merupakan indikator yang paling mudah diukur karena berkaitan dengan pencapaian dari hasil berlajar siswa dalam satu periode. Fokus permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pengaruh implementasi program tahunan sekolah dan kinerja kepala sekolah terhadap mutu sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Se Kecamatan Kemang Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai Mutu Sekolah, Implementasi Program Tahunan Sekolah, dan Kinerja Kepala Sekolah. Serta untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh Implementasi Program Tahunan Sekolah, Kinerja Kepala Sekolah, dan Implementasi Program Tahunan Sekolah dan Kinerja Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Mutu Sekolah Di Sekolah Dasar Se Kecamatan Kemang Kabupaten Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi dan korelasi, baik sederhana maupun ganda. Populasi penelitian dari 37 sekolah di Kecamatan Kemang adalah 663 guru dan 37 Kepala Sekolah. Responden 25% masing-masing sekolah hingga jumlahnya 166 guru dan 37 kepala sekolah, jumlah total 203 responden. Data yang dijaring melalui instrumen kuisioner dibagikan kepada 203 responden. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa Mutu Sekolah termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, Implementasi program tahunan sekolah termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi, dan Kinerja Kepala Sekolah termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Implementasi program tahunan sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap variable mutu sekolah, Kinerja kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah, dan Implementasi program tahunan sekolah dan kinerja kepala sekolah secara simultan (bersama-sama) memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah. Dalam penelitian ini, implementasi program tahunan sekolah dan kinerja kepala sekolah telah terbukti mempengaruhi secara signifikan terhadap mutu sekolah, peneliti merekomendasikan untuk menggali lebih dalam lagi tentang mutu sekolah yang berkaitan dengan output sekolah hendaknya menggunakan variabel lain yaitu tentang citra sekolah dan fasilitas belajar mengajar. School quality was assumed with some quality caracteristics that school must have, they are input, process and output. General assumtion at recent time is primary school quality can be defined with pupils achievement or output, both of academic or non-acadmic achievement that can ensure their graduates to higher education. Pupils achievement are the easiest indicator that can be measured because it related to pupils study accomplishment in period. The set of problems in this study is what the effect of annual school program implementation and principal performance implementation towards the primary school quality at Kecamatan Kemang Kabupaten Bogor. This study aims to describe about school quality, annual school program, and principal performance. And knowing about the effect of annual school program and principal performance towards the primary school quality at Kecamatan Kemang Kabupaten Bogor. The methode is a survey with a quantitative approach. The data were analyzed using regression and correlation analysis, either simple or double. The population subjects are teachers and primary school principals existing at Kecamatan Indramayu, amounting 663 teachers and 37 principals. 25% are respondens for the samples about 166 teachers and 37 principals, there are 203 total respondents. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. Result showed that the general depiction of the primary school quality at the high category, annual school program implementation at the high category, and principal performance at the very high category. Annual school program implementation have a positive significant influence to the primary school quality. Primary school have a positive significant influence to the primary school quality. Simultaneously Both of them have a positive significant influence to the primary school quality. in this study, the annual program implementation and performance of school principals has been shown to significantly affect the quality of schools, the researcher recommended to dig deeper about the quality of schools related to school should use the output of other variables, namely about the image of the school and teaching and learning facilities.
