    Abstract

    Analisis regresi adalah analisis yang digunakan untuk mencari bentuk hubungan dari dua variabel yang dinyatakan dalam persamaan. Dalam analisis regresi linear terdapat dua variabel, yaitu variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Model regresi linear yang di hasilkan adalah model regresi linear klasik tanpa ada pembatasan nilai. Namun ada beberapa kasus yang variabel terikat Y mengalami pembatasan. Pembatasan variabel terikat Y pada suatu nilai tertentu pada suatu populasi menyebabkan distribusi data berubah. Jika variabel terikat Y terbatas pada suatu nilai tertentu, dan variabel bebasnya hanya diobservasi jika variabel terikatnya diobservasi, maka model regresi ini disebut model regresi terpotong. Data yang digunakan untuk regresi terpotong adalah data terpotong. Jika Y>a Distribusi yang digunakan dalam model regresi terpotong kiri adalah distribusi normal terpotong kiri. Estimasi parameter regresinya menggunakan Metode Maksimum Likelihood dan metode iteratif Newton Raphson. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan diambil contoh pengaruh indeks massa tubuh terhadap persen lemak di dalam tubuh. Dan untuk membantu dalam mengolah data digunakan Program Eviews 8.

    Regression analysis is analysis used to looking for relation of two variables and otherwise in equation. In regression analysis have two variable independent variable and dependent variable. Linear regression model generated is a classic linear regression model without any limitations value. However there are some cases that the dependent variable Y faced limitations. Restrictions on the dependent variable Y at a certain value in a population, the distribution of the data to change. If the dependent variable Y is limited to a certain value, and the independent variables were observed only if the dependent variable is observed, then the regression model is called a truncated regression model. The data used for regression is data truncated truncated. If Y> a distribution that is used in the regression model are left truncated normal distribution truncated left. The regression parameter estimation using Maximum Likelihood method and Newton Raphson iterative method. In this final task will take a sample of the effect of body mass index and abdominal circumference of the percent of fat in the body. And to assist in processing the data used Eviews Program 8.
