Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) gambaran realitas sejarah dan sosial dari penokohan dalam drama Les Fourberies de Scapin karya Molière ; 2) pandangan dunia (vision du monde) yang terdapat pada drama Les Fourberies de Scapin ; dan 3) kontribusi pendekatan strukturalisme genetik bagi pembelajaran sastra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dekriptif analisis karena objek penelitiannya berupa karya sastra sehingga menghasilkan data-data deskriptif melalui uraian kata-kata yang tertulis berdasarkan pemahaman dari sampel penelitian. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah drama Les Fourberies de Scapin karya Molière yang terdiri dari 3 babak dan 26 adegan dan sampel penelitian ini adalah dialog-dialog yang mengandung gambaran penokohan dan keterkaitan dengan keadaan zaman saat terciptanya drama ini. Melalui pendekatan strukturalisme genetik diperoleh pandangan dunia pengarang setelah menganalisis struktur pembangun drama secara keseluruhan berupa penokohan, tema, alur dan latar. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa para tokoh dalam drama ini digambarkan berdasarkan dialog dan narasi pengarang. Peneliti menggunakan metode langsung (telling) berupa karakterisasi melalui penampilan tokoh dan tuturan pengarang dan metode tidak langsung (showing) berupa karakterisasi melalui dialog, jatidiri tokoh, kualitas mental tokoh, nada suara, dan karakterisasi melalui tindakan tokoh. Melalui pendekatan strukturalisme genetik diperoleh hasil adanya keterkaitan latar belakang sejarah dan sosial dalam membentuk pandangan dunia Molière yang dituangkan pada drama ini. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya dan menambah pengetahuan tentang menganalisis penokohan dengan pendekatan strukturalisme genetik sebagai bahan pembelajaran mata kuliah Littérature Française. This research proposed to: 1) depict historical and social reality of the characters in the play of “Les Fourberies de Scapin”; 2) describe the world of view of author; 3) contribute to the theory of genetic structuralism as learning of literary study. This research uses the descriptive analysis method because the object of research is in the literature form, so the result is descriptive data through the explanation of words which are written based on an understanding of the research sample. The population used in this research is the play of “Les Fourberies de Scapin” by Molière, consisting of three acts and 26 scenes. The samples of this research are the dialogue containing described characterizations and the circumstances of the creation of this play. Through genetic structuralism approach the author's view can be obtained, after analyzing the structure of the play about characterizations, themes, plot and setting. From the results of research can be noted that the depiction of a character in this drama is based on dialogue and narrative author. Researcher uses direct methods (telling) in form of characterization character's appearance and speech’s author and uses indirect methods (showing) in form of characterization through the dialogue, identity, the mental qualities of character, tone of voice, and characterization through the action figures. Genetic structuralism approach shows the interconnectedness of the social and historical background in shaping the worldview of Molière who poured on literature. This research could be a recommendation for further research and it was increased knowledge about analyzing characterizations and genetic structuralism as an approach which addresses the origins of the literature. It can be made into study materials for the course literature.
