Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran “play-teach-play” terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dan hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani di SMPN 2 Sidamulih Kecamatan Sidamulih Kabupaten Pangandaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen murni dengan menggunakan pretest-posttest design dan menggunakan kelas kontrol sebagai pembanding. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Sidamulih yang terdiri dari 1 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol. Dari hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara pendekatan pembelajaran “play-teach-play” terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dan hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani. Dalam penelitian ini, pengujian hipotesis menggunakan perhitungan Paired Samples T Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pendekatan pembelajaran “play-teach-play” lebih baik daripada pendekatan pembelajaran “skill-drill-game” terlihat dari tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dan hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelas eksperiment lebih besar tingkat motivasi belajar dan hasil belajarnya dibandingkan kelas kontrol.

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of learning approach "play-teach-play" to increase student’s motivation and learning outcomes of physical education in SMP 2 Sidamulih , Pangandaran. The method used is a pure experimental method using a pretest-posttest design and use grade control for comparison. The sample in this study is partial class VIII SMP 2 Sidamulih consisting of an experiment class and control class. The research shows that there is a positive influence between learning approach "play-teach-play" to increase student’s motivation and learning outcomes of physical education. In this study, the hypothesis test using Paired Samples T Test calculations. Based on the results of research, learning approach "play-teach-play" better than learning approach "skill-drill-game" seen from the level of students' motivation and learning outcomes of physical education. It can be concluded that the experiment class has larger learning motivation level and learning outcomes than control class.
