Abstract

Penelitianinidilatarbelakangiolehmasihkurangnyapenggunaan media pembelajaran yang diterapkanoleh guru sehinggapembelajaranmenjadimonotondankurangmenarikperhatiansiswa, haltersebutdapatberdampakkurangbaikpadapencapaiannilaisiswakarenamenciptakansuasana yang kurangmendukunguntuktercapainyatujuanpembelajaran.Adapuntujuan yang hendakdicapaipadapenelitianiniadalahuntukmengetahuiperbandinganprestasi belajar siswaantara kelasyang menggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial dengankelasyang tidakmenggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial di SMK Negeri 2 Garut. Metodepenelitian yang digunakanpadapenelitianiniyaituTrueEksperimental Designdenganpendekatanpostest-only control design.Dalamdesaininiterdapatduakelompok yang masing-masingdipilihsecara random (R).Kelompokpertamadiberiperlakuan (X) dankelompok yang laintidak. Kelompok yang diberiperlakuandisebutkelompokeksperimendankelompok yang tidakdiberiperlakuandisebutkelompokkontrol.Dalampenelitianini, pengaruh treatment dianalisisdenganujibeda, menggunakanstatistikt-test. AdapunpopulasidalampenelitianiniadalahsiswaTeknikGambarBangunan, denganmetodepengambilan samplemenggunakanmetodesamplingjenuhyaitusiswakelas X TGB 3 sebagaikelaseksperimendan X TGB 2sebagaikelaskontrol.Setelahdilakukanujinormalitasdidapat data berdistribusi normal, sehinggaanalisis data selanjutnyauntukpenelitianinidapatmenggunakanstatistikparametrik. Hasilbelajarsiswakelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 2 Garuttahunajaran 2013/2014 yang belajardenganmenggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial (kelaseksperimen) lebihtinggidibandingkanhasilbelajartanpamenggunakan media video tutorial. Hal inidapatdilihatdariperolehannilai rata-rata post-test padakelaseksperimen yang lebihtinggidibandingkandengankelaskontrolyaitukelaseksperimen82,77sedangkankelaskontrol 77,59. Setelahdilakukanujihipotesispadapenelitianinididapatnilaithitung>ttabelyaitu 3,61> 1,67, makadapatdisimpulkanbahwapenerapan media pembelajaran video tutorial dapatmeningkatkanprestasibelajarsiswapadamatapelajaranGambarTeknik di SMK Negeri 2 Garut.Hasiltanggapansiswamengenaipenerapan media pembelajaran media video tutorial dapatdikatakanbaik, halinidapatdilihatdari rata-rata rata-ratapersentaseuntukkeseluruhanangketsebesar 75,00% yang beradapadakriteriabaik. This research is motivated by the lack of the use of media that is applied by the teacher so that learning becomes monotonous and less attracted the attention of students, it can have adverse effects on the value of student achievement because it creates an atmosphere that is not conducive to the achievement of learning objectives. The goals to be achieved in this research was to compare student achievement between classes using instructional media video tutorials with classes that do not use instructional media video tutorials at SMK Negeri 2 Garut. The method used in this research is True Experimental Design with approach posttest-only control design. In this design, there are two groups each selected randomly (R). The first group was treated (X) and the other group did not. Called the group treated experimental group and the untreated group called the control group. In this research, the effect of treatment was analyzed with different test, using a statistical t-test. The population in this research were students Architecture Engineering, with a sampling method using a sampling method that is saturated class X TGB 3 as the experimental class and X TGB 2 as the control class. After the normality test normal distribution of data obtained, so that the subsequent data analysis for this research can be used parametric statistics. The results of student class X TGB 3 of SMK Negeri 2 Garut academic year study 2013/2014 who using instructional media video tutorials (experimental grade) was higher than the results of learning without using the medium of video tutorials. It can be seen from the acquisition value of the average post-test in the experimental class higher than the control class is the class of experiments 82.77 and 77.59 the control class. After testing the hypothesis in this study obtained tcount>ttable is 3.61>1.67, it can be concluded that the application of instructional media video tutorials can improve student achievement in subjects Engineering Drawing in SMK 2 Garut. The results of student responses on the application of instructional media video tutorials can be said to be good, it can be seen from the average of the average percentage for the entire questionnaire of 75.00% which is on both criteria
