Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA pada siwa kelas V E SDN Asmi Bandung selama ini masih berpusat pada guru dan masih sering menggunakan metode ceramah, guru kurang melibatkan siswa untuk melakukan percobaan-percobaan, guru kurang memahami arti pendekatan keterampilan proses dan rendahnya pemahaman siswa dimana nampak pada hasil belajar dari 33 siswa hanya 9 siswa atau 27% siswa yang tuntas dan 24 siswa atau 73% siswa yang belum tuntas. Untuk mengatasinya, perlu dilakukan perbaikan dengan menerapkan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Heads Together Berbasis Pendekatan Keterampilan Proses (Predict-Observe-Explain).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) Perencanaan guru dalam merancang model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together berbasis pendekatan keterampilan proses (Predict-Observe-Explain) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas V E SDN Asmi kecamatan Regol kota Bandung pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Cahaya dan Sifat-sifatnya, (2) Pelaksaanaan pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together berbasis pendekatan keterampilan proses (Predict-Observe-Explain) untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa materi Cahaya dan Sifat-sifatnya. (3)Hasil belajar siswa dalam model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together berbasis pendekatan keterampilan proses (Predict-Observe-Explain) pada mata pelajaran IPA materi Cahaya dan Sifat-sifatnya. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V E yang berjumlah 33 orang. Pelaksanaan PTK yang digunakan meliputi empat tahapan, yaitu: 1) perencanaan, 2) pelaksanaan 3) observasi, dan 4) refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain: tes, lembar observasi dan catatan lapangan. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 41%, meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 64% dan meningkat kembali di siklus III menjadi 82% diatas target yang diharapkan yaitu 80%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together berbasis pendekatan keterampilan proses (Predict-Observe-Explain) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA. Saran untuk guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran sebaiknya lebih banyak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang inovatif seperti yang telah dilakukan peneliti, sehingga hasil belajar siswa menjadi meningkat sesuai situasi dan kondisi lingkungan setempat. Science learning in class VE during the SDN Asmi Bandung is still centered on the teacher and still often use the lecture method, the teacher is less engages students to conduct experiments, teachers lack the skills to understand the meaning of the approach and the process in which the students' lack of understanding evident in the results of the study 33 students only 9 students or 27% of students who completed and 24 students or 73% of students who have not completed. To fix this, need to be improved by implementing Cooperative Learning Model Based Approach Numbered Heads Together Process Skills (Predict-Observe-Explain). This study aimed to describe: (1) Planning teachers in designing cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together process skills-based approach (Predict-Observe-Explain) to improve student learning outcomes in the VE classroom SDN Asmi district Regol Bandung in material science subjects Light and Its Properties, (2) of implementation of learning through cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together process skills-based approach (Predict-Observe-Explain) to improve student learning outcomes Light material and Its Properties. (3) The results of student learning in cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together process skills-based approach (Predict-Observe-Explain) teaching science in light material and its properties. The subjects were students of class VE totaling 33 people. Classroom Action Research implementation used includes four stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observations, and 4) reflection. Data collection techniques used include: testing, observation sheets and field notes. Mastery learning outcomes of students in cycle 1 by 41%, increase in cycle 2 to 64% and increased again in the third cycle to 82% above the expected target of 80%. Results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together process skills-based approach (Predict-Observe-Explain) IPA. Recommendation can improve learning outcomes for teachers in implementing the learning process should be more use of innovative learning model as it has been conducted by researchers , so that student learning outcomes to be increased according to the situation and circumstances.
